Sorry for the repost, but it's been over a week since I posted this originally, and this issue is highly important that needs to be dealt with

One of the areas I mine/herb at has a considerable amount of combat. No big deal since my farming toons are decently geared since I run them in heroics with my acct that I don't bot on (need on EVERYTHING). After a bit I decided to check out turning on the loot mobs option in GB, and have actually been pulling in an extra 1-2k a day off of each toon. I've ran into 2 problems doing this though. The first is the bot getting stuck in a loop trying to loot the treasure chests that you will get off mobs from the Luck of the Lotus buff. When it tries to loot it, GB doesn't click "ok" on the notification that looting that item will bind it to you, and instead flies off a few yards, then returns to try and loot the mob. It will repeat this indefinitely, until I catch it, stop the bot and click accept. The second issue with looting is related to mining/herbing bags. Occassionaly my bot will have open slot sin a mining/herbing bag, but the regular bag slots will be full. All of my bots are herbing and mining and carry one each of 36 slot mining and herbing bag and then 2 22 slot bags. If the mining bag is full and the regular bags are also full, but the herb bag has slots open when it tries to harvest a ore node it will get stuck in a loop of trying to harvest that node, but can't because bags are full. It will also do the same if the herb bags and regular bags are full and it is trying to harvest an herb node. Occasionally I also run into a problem with it getting stuck in a loop trying to loot off of a mob with open mining/herbing bag slots open but regular bag slots full. Can these two problems be addressed? Perhaps an auto response of some kind in GB to run the empty bags routine when it recieves the message "Your bags are full" and another one dealing with the accepting bop loot?

Since the original post I've changed my set up a tad bit. One of my bots is a tauren druid so I equipped him with 3 herb bags, installed Druid gather helper and turned off mining. No more issues with that bot, other than some iffyness with it when it gets into combat. The other toon I run is a DK and I turned off his herbing, equipped him with 32 mining bags and turned off herbing, and this bot I am still having some issues with. About once a day or so I will have to stop the bot and manually go empty his bags of the loot he gets off of mobs. Just now I had to stop the bot when it was stuck in a loop trying to loot off a mob when the regular bag slots were full, but 2 of his mining bags were completely empty, and the third was about half full. There's a couple of ways this issue could be avoided. The quickest and easiest would be to add a routine so that it will run the vendor/mail routine when it recieves a message that your inventory is full. Another quick fix would be so that it runs the vendor routine whenever it is triggered to empty the bags. As it is it will just go to the nearest mail box and ship off the herbs/ore and get back to work. Ultimately though i think the best fix would be to have HB finally recognize the difference between regular bag slots, and specialized bag slots, and then act accordingly. Here's a log of the loop I just caught my DK in.

is autoloot enabled in wow settings?

unfortunately there's no way at this time to get honorbuddy to tell the difference that it cant fit non herbs or non minerals in the extra slots from your special bags. the only solution i can suggest for now, is to ether use 1 bag and put it in the first slot next to your default backpack so it gets filled first. or to just use normal bags.

Even using just regular bags doesn't address the issue of HB getting stuck in loot loops. When the bags get full it will attempt to loot a mob over and over and over and over again. Bag slots may not be recognizable for whatever reason, but when the game sends a message "you inventory is full" HB should be able to recognize that and run a vendor routine.
Also when the bags get full GB will run and mail the herbs/ore and then go straight back to farming. It should also run the vendor routine to completely empty the bags and repair.

Hi, Scrubbish,

Just tossing one more thing to check, since you seem to be the only one with this problem...

I see you're using GBConfigLoader. Is there any chance that the profile you're using has accidentally set the "MinBagSlots" to zero? Might double check the <GBConfigLoader> section in the profile you're using, and make certain its sane.

cheers,
chinajade

I'm also having this problem on another machine that does not have Gbconfigloader as a plugin. Double checked the profiles (both machines load the profiles from the same network location) they all have this tagline
Code:
<MinFreeBagSlots>1</MinFreeBagSlots>
Is that the wrong tag?

Hi, Scrubbish,

No, that's probably the right tag, I was speaking from memory (which I should never do. :D )

<sigh> I'm sorry we didn't find anything, it was worth a shot tho.

cheers,

Try increasing the minbagslots value to around 3 or 4. Its all I can think of.

Thanks anyway, it was definitely worth looking into.

Getting my bot to repair regularly would help cut down on running into situation where the bags are full, so I'm going to try like BamBam922 says and bump the min value up to 4. With this aside though, any answer from a dev on getting the bot to recognize when the game reurns a message that your inventory is full and it killing the loot routine and running the vendor routine?

yea, try it because it could be an oversight, since wow counts starting at 1,2,3 , and in C# it 0, 1, 2 so its possible it when set to 1 its not quite doing it.

theres an addon from curse that will automatically click yes for bop item such as the treasure chests.. i had same prob then found this addon, havent had a prob since.. my bags are full of treasure chest once im done farming for the day.. its called arkautolootbop hope this helps

yea, you want to make sure your not running any wow addons.
