Hi,

I've just purchased GB today and I'm experiencing some issues. After setting all the macros on bar 3, the bot seems unable to use the mount:

[1:01:33 AM:191]:Bar 3 button 1 to mount.
[1:01:38 AM:500]:1 mount attempts.
.
.
.
[1:02:40 AM:806]:Bar 3 button 1 to mount.
[1:02:42 AM:371]:7 mount attempts.

I don't know why, I've set the mount icon from "C"->mounts

The other issue is that in combat, nearly always the mobs attacks me from behind, so, I never touch them...

I've tried with the default paths, the safe path and other paths from here... always the same problem.

Surely it's my fault, but It would be very nice some help :-)

By the way, I'm under windows 7 pro x64 Spanish version (idiom set to English, Wow in English, click to move, clear key bindings, Run by admin...etc.)

I have not installed Windows Framework 3.5 (english version) because GB just worked, Could this be the main problem?

Thank you for your patience

I've noticed that this issues happend when Latency was around +250. At 2am with 130ms bot just worked nicely. So, has GB issues with latency?

huh?

bar 3 (shift 3) 1st button needs to have your mount on it. i run with 400-500 latency (in europe playing wow-us ... and tkscable sucks) and gb x6 works fine.

post your log here as attachment
also
if in your mount key you have a macro change it with the normal mount key

Hello,

Surely I did something wrong last night at the beginning, maybe keyboard was in Spanish... (Now I have the language bar on the tray), because just now with 300ms latency works just fine:confused:.

Sorry for the nuisance

After some rinse and repeat trying to find out why this happened, I've just maybe figured out why, This "malfunction" happens if I resize the Wow resolution ingame and botting. I play windowed at 1024x768 (meanwhile doing other things), and if I reduce it when GB is doing it's job to 800x600, the issue appears again

So, as I thought, it's my fault. Don't know if GB calculates buttons position at current res when it launches, So if I change res when botting, GB tries to click the button but there's not the expected one.

Is it this?

if you like to go around changing settings, simply make 2 different wow folders... 1 for low res bots... 1 for playing.

also if you haven't already... consider:

/console maxfps #a
/console maxfpsbk #b

#a = 20-40, whatever you want to put it at (this is while the program is highlighted/selected)
#b = 8-30, again whatever you want to put it at (while the program is NOT selected ... ie: in the background)

i run my bots at 25 / 20... GB can farm at 8 fps just fine if you're having issues, but best around 25-30

this is best if running a lot of bots at once

thanks for the tip, I didn't know it was possible to force down fps.

At night vga fan is quite annoying, I will make 2 wow folders as You recommend me.

Thank You a lot :)
