It seems to me that GB, by lacking plugins, offers no way to deal with GM whispers. Few if any botters are going to watch their screen all day while they bot and even if you leave the sound on, a whisper makes very low noise. If you were in, say, the room next door you probably wouldn't even notice a whisper. You could use an addon like WIM but in 4.03 those only work when your entire WoW sound effects is turned on. When you have multiple bots running, you dont want to turn all the sound effects on, it would be like living next to a construction site. So whisper addons are not really viable whisper alerts for botting anymore. I know there are programs that autoreply to whispers but those are separate programs from GB that can get you banned all by themselves and what if we don't need something that sophisticated, is there a simple solution that makes a loud noise when you run GB with sound effects turned off and receive a whisper? Obviously this is not a problem for honorbuddy since they have plugins like redalert but what are we GB users supposed to do about the potential of being reported and then whispered by a GM?
And yeah theres probably going to be someone who reads this and wants to post something like "L2Search n00b" and all I have to say to them is this forum is not just for people who already know everything, it is for all GB users and if you dont need to participate in a particular topic then dont participate but dont be a jerk and ruin other people's experience.
