GB Closing WoW and itself

Hi, I'm having problems with both Gatherbuddy and WoW closing randomly while farming. Also, when the farming character gets DCed, both shutdown as well.

you can change this in the options of the program

its normal that when wow char gets dc-ed your bot + wow will be closed.
 
There is a bug in GB, that it will shutdown WOW... For example. If you start WOW, start GB, login, but don't select Start.. In a few mins GB will close down WOW.
Also the other way I've found GB closing WOW was. IF I hit stop, after GB has been running for a while. And I go do other stuff.. In a few mins again. GB Will close WOW..

There has to be some type of Inactivity timer going off. :( I've reported this before. But it's still present in the current version.. I guess one of those pesky unwanted "Features"

Gb is manually stoped
 
If GB is left "on" after you hit the stop button for a few minutes, it will auto close (not a bug)

Oh Tony was posting as I was.

Tony, is the 8 hour marker just a coincidence?

this is not a bug its so it won't stay open all the time

Yes, this feature is intended.
No, this feature is therefore not a bug.
No, this feature can not be turned off.

Sorry, bro - but it would seem like it's hardcoded into the bot :)
 
So let me elaborate a little bit. It's definitely not the 8 hour limit, but thats maybe why i closed once.

If I leave GB open and stopped while i play my toon for a bit, GB will close WoW and itself. So the only way to get around this is to just close GB whenever it's not running?

Yes. I was having this same issue. Now I just close GB completly when I'm done and then reload when I'm ready to use again. before i would stop it and be messing around in the bank or something and it would close WOW and GB without warning.
 
How is the inactivity timer bugged when its doing exactly what they programmed it to do?
