Haven't tried it personally, so can't confirm that it works.

ExGather should have enough backwards compatibility to be able to replace just the outer xml. There are obviously a lot more options you would be able to add say if you used a radio button to select which tag you wanted and change some panels if you are trying to get more advanced features.

Yea, at the moment its only using the default ones. Mainly to keep it fully compatible/easy to use and because its what ive been using myself.
Now that the plugin is more or less feature complete for what i originally intended this is something I'll be looking into. Like i said, i havent used it myself but its been requested and I'll be trying it out to see how it differs and improves on the standard tag.

Sorry, I dont have a fisher myself and it would take quite a lot of work to add it. I dont see myself doing it but who knows, if I ever level a fisher i might feel differently.
New version. Some plugins may not be compatible with ExGather.

Basically areas you want the bot to avoid, but if this now uses ExGather, I might remember wrong, but I don't think ExGather supports blackspots.
You could use <StealthApproachGatherSpot> or <IndirectApproachGatherSpot> instead.
What tishat said but to add what i would imagine is the most common usage scenario. Youve got a hotspot covering several nodes but the bot has problems navigating to one of them. Add a blackspot on that node and the bot will ignore it. Its not something you will usually need to do though.
Yea, not supporting blackspots was mainly due to the fact i couldn't even find a profile that used them when i was building my gather tag. And i had made plenty of profiles that never needed a single blackspot so i guess i just figured it was more legacy and not really needed. I could eventually add support for this, but I would need some convincing that it would be used.
Well, as far as this plugin goes, i dont think its a big problem. My need for blackspots is rare, i think out of the 20ish profiles i use only a couple use them and for those the native tag does the job well enough.
I don't really make profiles much more complex than what this plugin generates so my experience is limited but from what ive seen I prefer to use blackspots instead of smaller hotspots because:
1. Adjusting a hotspot so it covers many but not the offending node requires tinkering.
2. using many small hotspots which just covers one node requires you to mine the area for awhile so you can find all the nodes which takes time. It also (iirc) results in the bot traveling to each hotspot even if no node exists which i dont quite like.

Sorry, I looked into this before and didnt like the results from doing stealth within the profile. If it was a small edit to add I would do it anyway but as it is it would require too much work for something which I dont think would work satisfactory enough. Ive found i havent really needed stealth since i reached lvl 60 but if you do I would recommend you grab the Sneaky plugin and use it with the native gather tag (it doesnt play well with exgather).
