Gatherbuddy2's Gathering speed

So I recently tried a different farming bot (just for the fun of it) and it was WAAAAY quicker that GatherBuddy, don't get me wrong, other than the super fast gathering, it sucked. It kind of annoys me to see such a bad bot (compared to HB) have a feature that still is so much better than GB2 has.
For me, GB can take as much as 1-2 second break/pause after dismount and before mounting again when collecting a herb/ore. Imagine the bot gathering 800 nodes a day; Thats 1600 seconds at least, thats about 30 mins. now if you add that up and plus the nodes you lost to the bots/people that was quicker than you, its allot when days turns to weeks and months

So my point/question here is: Is the devs aware of this? Are they ever going to attempt to make it quicker? It would make GB2 without a doubt the BEST (public) gathering bot out there

this is annoying me also, it lands, waits a good 5-7 seconds before it gathers, and then waits another 5 seconds before it mounts. Slows it down by a lot.

I for one, do not want it to gather faster. The more nodes/hour you gather could be closer to some kind of detection by statistic/algorythym by blizzard. I use this for the automation not for its super fast speed.

I do not understand how you came to that conclusion. If you were to farm by hand, would you wait 5 seconds before you gather a node? No, you would much more likely have binded mount on a easy-to-reach key-bind and dismount as soon as you reach it, if not even before, and fall onto the node. you can do allot more nodes/hour than a bot can. I would rather have the bot got for 8 hours with quick gathering that for 10 hours @gathering the same amount at the current speed of GB2

There are no way blizzard will be all like: Oh shit, this guy mounts 0.1 seconds after hes done gathering and he has sooo many nodes/hour. Because that can be done by just spamming a mount macro, and staying up late. you don't need a bot for that...

Althought I seriously doubt that Bliz is going to look at individual mining or gathering times, figure this. If you mined for 8 hours consecutively, would you keep the same pace for that 8 hours that you could keep for 10 minutes? Absolutely not. You'd at a very minimum, take a 3 min break to use the bathroom, maybe 15-20 minutes here and there to get something to eat, several seconds many times to drink something that's right in front of you... all of that adds up. If you had a bot that 100% optimized each time you gathered and it sustained that for 8 or more hours... hell... even 4 or more hours, that's just absolutely asking Bliz to detect you.

I haven't purchased (yet) but I tell you this... This thread makes me more likely to purchase because there has to be some time built in for normal humans... our reaction time, the inability to do the same thing for 8 hours+ and not lose a second of effeciency... that pause at each node would add up to the normal human need to take small breaks even if we would gather faster at each node when we're doing it ourselves.
