[Gatherbuddy2] Leaving nodes before the node is herbed/mined. [Video+Log]

how much did you reduce your fps? i am running on 23-24, and still the same. nodefacing is turned off...didn't help. and i am getting this error maybe a million times(before and also after fps change):

Info: Yesterday fresh installed WinXp32bit, fresh .net4.0 installation, fresh .net3.5 installation (still needed for hbrelog),... ... ... everzthing required for hb.

since this testrelease, hb needs about 800% more resources than before.

is this a school projekt, or a commercial product?
 
latest update 13/09/12, move away before the cast time is over and looted, tried getting the druid to mount another, and see if that's the issue, but it ignores the mount settings and uses flight form

Downloaded a new copy, there was an update, and I went herbing in Uldam, working fine, gone back to twilight and it working better, still missing a few blacklisting them but working much better.

the looting could be better too too fast into flight form

Problem is when two objects are near each other.


Actually, this happens to me regardless. My druid will fly down to gather, break gathering cast, fly several yards towards next hotspot, flies back to herb, tries 3 times, blacklists and moves on.
 
IT IS WORKING AGAIN FOR ME!!!

what i have done:
i had to install .net3.5 for other applications i am running. about 5 days ago. it seems to be one of the reasons for this shitty GB2 behavior.

what i have done now: i deinstalled all .net versions. 4.0, 4.0client, 3.5, .... all of them. from highest to lowest.
i deinstalled microsoft visual c++ 2010yaddayadda

everytime i was asked to do a reboot, i did one.


now i installed ONLY .net4.0, did a restart
installed the microsoft visual c++ 2010thingy again >restart

i did not download any microsoft updates after these .net cleanings.

it took about 30 minutes, and HB is gathering smooooooth again




edit: there is still 1 bug. as soon, as a mob aggros (char goes infight) the old behavior starts. (fly to node, levae node, fly to node, leave node........)

edit 2: as workaround for devs, maybe you can add a logic to this behaviour:

if me=infight and me.health &lt=95% do <killthemob> ; if a lowlevel mobs attacks, and health still over 95% the gathering doesnt need to be stopped

You know what is sad, is Gatherbuddy used to be Bossland's bread and butter. It was always the first to get fixed after a patch, or updated. And now sadly that doesn't appear to be the case. It was working on the 4.0.4 patch before, so go back to that old code at least until you get this stupid shit figured out. I understand this is a Dev release, but it's still a joke...

It was working on the 4.0.4 patch before, so go back to that old code at least until you get this stupid shit figured out. I understand this is a Dev release, but it's still a joke...

agree. cos all these fanboys here who praise patience, patience, patience want their toons questing. the main point of botting... generating gold is forgotten already

I think you meant 5.0.4, but regardless... I think mine is working fine now. I just updated to the latest HB and my other files (C++ & .net) have been updated all along. I have deselected "Face nodes before harvesting" in Bot Config. Everything else is literally set to default (has not been changed beyond installation), no plugins.

Now if I can just get lowbie druid Singular CC to work, I wouldn't smash my head against the wall whenever I see it moonfire/catform spam.

yeah i have the same kind of thing on my huntard ... she will half pick a herb, jup to one side as if avoiding somthing ..run two meters.. mount up fly back to node, start to pick it again.. jump ..run mount up ..etc etc at same node after about 4 fails she leaves it behind... im too scared to run the bot like this..may as well be wearing a huge neon flashing light saying "im a bot please report me"

5.0.4 Is what I mean, and I have updated and it seems to be doing better, but if it get's in combat it is still having some issues I have noticed, sometimes, not nearly as often as before, and i hit a couple of nodes I thought were close enough to bounce around and it didn't do it. So, it is doing better, it just kills me how their priorities have changed.
 
It worked for me, enabled auto loot on my druid and gather buddy (herbing) is working flawlessly so far.

My warlock won't remount upon succesfully herbing a node. If I remount and jump into the air manually, it'll continue just fine. But it won't mount by itself. BG's aint working on my warlock, works fine on my rogue.
 
I think those that are reporting it working aren't watching it long enough. I've tried all suggested fixes. The unchecking of facing the node, certainly does improve things, but the error still exists. Log attached.

I was make 10k gold per day with gatherbuddy2 now the toons hardy full half the bags after 24h, not that its too risky when someone see running between nods that is 100 bot report :-( hope dev fix that soon.
