So I've noticed on a few of my nodes my character will dismount and get sent flying, usually taking fall damage. Is this happening to other people or is this just me? It's weird cause he fell of a cliff and almost died one time and I'm curious what's going on here...

Have you tried disabling FrameLock and lowering TPS to 5?
You can do this in the HonorBuddy > Settings window.
