does G2 can farm gathering with ground mount ?
coz i try to start GB2 in elwyn forest with my ground mount (don't have money for flying atm), and the only one thing it does, it display in red color

you can't use that here

it don't move, nothing :(
 
On roughly 50% of kills where mobs are near herbs or mines, the bot will kill mob, then mine or herb. But then it mounts up, remembers it has to loot mob, dismount, loot and then mount up again. Its nothing major but maybe a check in the code to loot first when within 20 yards or something.

Oh, and something else: Can you make the takeoff a little more human like. My suggestion is to make it so that it mounts up, runs 1-2 yards then lifts off in a more human, fluid motion. Hmm probably harder to implement than i imagine but it would be nice. But, as it stands now, GB2 seems way less mechanic than GB1, so its only if you have the time to implement it.

How's the CPU and Ram usage with GB2? Same resources usage as GB? or like HB?

Is it just me, or does it sometimes fail to mount after harvesting a node?
Had to mount manually a couple of times over the last week.
It continues like nothing happened tho.
 
Yeah it sometimes fails to mount for some reason, if you move the bot it will take off again though.
 
We really need a blacklist button because for some reason when i manually add blackspots it won't let me structure it correctly in the profile (indenting etc) so it says it can't read the lines and won't load the profile, i've never had this happen to me before though >.<. I'n Twilight Highlands, in the Grim Batol area, it keeps diving into mobs of 3-5 to get elementium veins and just gets destroyed.
 
i get error on path

annyone know how to fix this, i have loaded upp a profile at buddy auth profile and loaded it in on GB2
and i only got : Unknown tag "Waypoint" (Input: "<Waypoint>4754.903 -4548.852 1021.922</Waypoint>") in "GlideProfile"!
This profile does not contain any profiles fitting the character!
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.


annyone that can helpme whit that? im new to this bot atm.

getting "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

can anyone see any errors in this?

i followed the guide by kickazz would appreciate any pointers

I found that GB2 if landing to take an herb and there is a mob. It will kill the mob, loot herb, mount, dismount, and then loot corpse. It should take loot from corpse before it mounts

Gatherbuddy2 profiles are more of a Farming Profile, and not a Grinding Profile. As such, try the following changes....
  • SubProfiles sometimes cause problems. Get rid of the <SubProfile> tag and its associated <Name>, <MinLevel>, and <MaxLevel> elements.

  • Get rid of the <GrindArea> tag and its associated <Factions>, <TargetMinLevel>, and <TargetMaxLevel> elements. (Leave the <Hotspots> element intact)

  • The <ProtectedItems> and <ForceMail> elements should be removed. These are provided by the Protected Items.xml and ForceMail.xml files that ship with Honorbuddy.

yeah its a profile for gathering ore/herbs ideally, picked outlands as somewhere quiet to get the hang of things before moving anywhere else , ill remove those tags and report back

OMFG! I just tried out GB2 for the first time, since Vashj'ir is working now, and am literally touching myself as I write this. /cum
 
That's going a bit far dude.

But I have to say I am loving it and have removed all my Gb1 off the pc.

Gb2 is pretty awesome!

ok so i did as chinajade suggested and bot did several laps without problems...

i decided to change repair vendor as it was bugging a little at the one in honorhold ive just edited the repair vendor and mailbox to the ones at temple of telhamat but now bot seems to be stuck on "initializing flight paths"

would appreciate if people had a look at the attached and let me know if theres any probs

Here are the problems I've encountered so far:
1. Bot can't get out of the water sometimes(its right under the surface and the jumping doesn't help).
2. Bot sometimes doesn't mount and AFKs out. Ruins of whatever is one place, another is a spot in north of Uldum that is in Uldum but map says it isn't(bleh complicated). The small tab above the minimap is black and doesn't say anything. If I move the bot a bit it recovers.
3. There are some places where the mount can't spawn because its in a tight place(herb node between two trees..doesn't work for Drake or Wind Rider or Gryphon).

All this problems could be fixed with a sort of unstuck routine.
Something along the lines of a timer and/or counter. If not mounted for a period of time or number of attempts move to a "safespot" or a "landmark" or vendor.
It would solve all the AFKing problems in a elegant way.
 
Is there any reason that Twilight Jasmine and Whiptail are not an option to be farmed when I am using GB2 on a level 82 character? I was previously using GB1 without problems, but it seems with GB2 there is a level requirement. Would like to have the option to farm these two herbs before this character is level 85.
 
Quick question:

I own both HonorBuddy and GatherBuddy but with Gatherbuddy2 being introduced into Honorbuddy, what is the purpose of Gatherbuddy anymore? I'm not trying to be cynical but just wondering. Are there limitations to Honorbuddy's Gatherbuddy2 plugin that make Gatherbuddy more attractive?
