Post says it all. I try to login to gatherbuddy through the authorization menu and it fails me everytime.

My account shows paid in full and activated. I'm using the same login I used to purchase and for these forums.

Attached to WoW ProcessId: 3920.

Feels like I wasted 32 dollars.

if you can log in there then you should be good 2 go. its something on your end. check firewalls, check router wall. make sure port 443 is open (ssl port) - if you have a lot of things blocked on your end.

if its more than that, its midnight here in Germany, you may have to wait until the morning

we had one guy "Diamont" who couldn't figure it out (it worked on his lappy but not his desktop) ... so he reformatted and installed win 7 now it works great for him :p

Note: I am not telling you to re-format. just using a comparison

Yes I can. Shows me the path directory and I can download paths from there.

Do you have any firewalls on your pc, or a firewall set on your router? Its possible the app can't get out to the auth server properly.

Yeah I just used a port checker and its saying 443 blocked. I set it as an exception up and down for UDP and TCP. Still blocked. Gonna check my router next.

Good luck, let us know how it goes.

i've never seen a listening port. it only sends out when you log in ... thats it?

try adding this "site" to your IE exceptions:

https://auth.gatherbuddy.de (ssl vs regular http) - other than this, i'm out of ideas. try the devs in the morning (its almost 0200)

plz give us updates if it does / doesn't work. Are you running GB as admin? (right click -> properties -> compatibility tab -> [] Run as admin)

Yeah that site works fine for me using a web browser such as firefox or chrome. The only other thing I can think of is if gatherbuddy uses login and pass plus IP address to log you in. I have a dynamic IP address and can not get a static one through my ISP.

My router is a Netopia 3347 and I have port 443 open in my NAT settings. I've getting confused here.

Yes UAC is disabled and I'm running it as administrator. Everything else works fine, my internet and the secure login for the paths works also. Thats HTTPS which port 443 is usually associated with. Funny thing is none of my old gatherbots will connect to the servers either.

Think my last option is a fresh install of Windows. Guess it could be worse. I want to get my 30 bucks out of this thing.

Well figured it out. Pretty stupid if you ask me. I had COMODO firewall disabled at startup which logically made me think it wasnt operating when I logged on. Well, it still does.

Simple fix. Started COMODO and added gatherbuddy to the exemptions. Works fine now. ;)
