I had this problem off and on. It seems like something was downloading older honorbuddy files(I think HBRelog - turned it off). Now it has worked for the past 2 days since I had these problems.
Just download the current honorbuddy and replace your current HB with the downloaded one. Even though you think your updated like I did, I had some files that were outdated somehow.
Updating any hb files will probably solve your problems.
