If there is such a high risk I guess we're already all f*** up because we're using this version already for some weeks now.
 
Does it use the Garrison HS? Started the Botbase mid somewhere in WoD and my Toon running into a Wall nonstop. Doesnt use the Garrision HS. In the Settings it was activated.
 
Can you please post the details of the "important security bug" that was fixed? Meaning where in the code you fixed it?
 
GarrisonBuddy isn't working for me atm. I updated it through SVN to revision 25. But after that it stopped working. It doesn't show up on the selection screen either.

My assumption is that there is no security risk at the moment, the paid version went live, beta ended, he removed the addon from the SVN and told everyone there is a security risk to stop them from using the free version.

I appreciate your security concerns, but please do NOT spread FALSE and MISLEADING information regarding 0.7.1 Beta version of GarrisonBuddy. Its neither serious issue and its neither towards 0.7.1!

hey smart justin, why he should ? its his work and it deserved to be payed, and if you not find it yourself pay the supported version or not use it if you take care about your account, cheers

nope there is definitly a update in the mission starter behavier but your free to use the free version it was open source, you are also free to modify it for yourself, but your not free to tell shit about a guy who gave you free stuff ...
 
The BuddyStore version has fixes for all the major bugs I've seen. It's only a few Euros, totally worth it. I can't fathom why people don't just go an buy it.
 
I am very glad that Deams is getting some small reward for his amazing work!

This is by far and away the best Garrison bot/profile out there!

totaly agree - for sure I´m a little bit sad that this program went from free to paid cause i used it only for some days

i have tried a lot of profiles/bots during last weeks but none of them can mess with what this guy has built....

I have to pay for it cause its awesome

Just a question, if i buy the LITE version now and i want to buy the ICE later, will be there an upgrade price: or I have to pay full for both?

I want to know what the security flaw was ... it's for the best of the community so that other developers (including myself) can avoid doing the same thing in their work. It doesn't make sense to keep the flaw a secret and expose everyone to it.
