Just randons screenshots take from a reddit thread.
But I am going to take down, because the ppl on screenshot have not do with botting.

myself, i will spend 8.5usd and be up and running again in 4 days. AND if i want to scale up, i can run multiple accounts at the exact same time, without swapping alts every 10 minutes

here we have two valid gold machines. have you ever heard of the saying 'dont put all your eggs in one basket'? or how about the business model of 'diversification'
how about the stock market, i put all my money into one stock, it lives, i win. it dies, i lose. i put a little money into 10 stocks. 5 die, i only lose half. i still win half.

there is a valid point to garrison gold farms. the most valid point is you can still run it when honorbuddy goes down. and that sir, counts for a lot. and for that reason, i give this post 10/10 for creating a garrison gold guide that shows an individual can make wealth without the use of honorbuddy. in the end, do what makes you happy, dont let my opposition get you down.

I got you point. I lost my main account briefly after the last tripwire event. I was not online on the tripwire, but soon HB got back, I start running it again with GarrisonButler because is a pain in the ass to manage 8 level 100 chars Garrisons.
So, they got down my gold machine, and I didn't had a backup plan or emergency plan. Everything was gone.

Guys i started to think this guide because my main acc was suspended and i cant bot on it atm (maybe will sell it or play without bot) so now i started to think how easy to get gold and trying with garrison (also thinking to check farm on new battlechest acc). This guide also is good because immune to ban (if u dont use bot i think dont neeed with good addons organising garison takes minutes). Realy hard time is lvling and gearing folower (and maybe gold for some1) but later is free not bad gold machine (and neverending ;])

I didnt say its best garrison guide if u have opinion how to improve write here and i will edit post if it works , this is one of reason i posted this guide on forum .

Already mentioned that this farming method IS NOT SAFE (garrison bot can also be detected and probably was detected, becuase ppl who only used hb for garrison managment got 6 month bans in the US, that's only what I remember + report in the thread). Also, leveling of 10-11 chars can be very dangerous too (even with 1-90 in dungs, 90-100 is pretty dangerous), that's TON of time of botting in higly populated public spots.

Garrison gold making is not easy at all, probably one of the hardest ways to make gold, your guide should reflect it. You already got very detailed and helpful replies from knowing ppl in your thread, feel free to update your guide...
 
i think a great addition to the guide would be addressing buildings. which to use for maximizing gold and which to use to support your raiding. benefits to choosing each building. and what else you may need to support those buildings.

example-to build an AH with this building, you need parts that can be gathered with XX profile, found here.

focus on the functionality of each building based on how it will support another gold making method.

this forum is based on Automating In-Game Activities
a subset of this group is How do I make as much gold as possible.

you can write a guide on automating a garrison, but you wont be winning points with the gold farming subset.

When your farm is done you need 3 buildings:

Inn for more treasure followers or scavenging followers
Trade outpost to flip GR
Salvage yard for extra gold from missions (from the salvage)

These buildings aren't really essential and only add like 100-300g per day.
For professions I'd go with Tailoring + Enchanting. Can disenchant all those 3g worth blues you get from salvage yard into 8-12 draenic dust. And tailoring because bags are still selling for a good chunk.
You should definitely upgrade your profession buildings to level 2? or is it 3? To put a follower in it because it will double your gains in the building. It be awesome if someone could do the math on gains from profession buildings. Factor in cost of the tasks and the gains etc...

Iam focusing only on buildings directly suporting gold making by missions (edited post and added also other gold options)

Atm mainly thinking what can to do to increase followers lvling and gearing (probably harison jones best option) and setup of best traits and abilities, also not sure for best exact number of folowers .

Harrison Jones profile is awesome but its not AFK-able by a long shot. There are some quests that are just too hard for the bot to complete. Try doing the Infected orc last quest where you have to avoid the skulls, the bot just cant do it atm.

For a bot, leveling those followers isnt a problem, it takes 4-5 days with 3-4 logins per day, not a big deal at all.
 
Frosticus, for casual botters I think going WoD is the way to go. Atm the ***** down on BChests too hard, almost impossible to bot on them.
