Hey guys,
Jack posting here once again. I created a thread a while ago so we could discuss whether DB botting in D3 would come to an end once Blizzard started banning accounts, or whether our botting approaches would adapt and improve. Some people brought up the idea of profiles that if coded well could allow a character to run through entire acts even while accounting for randomized routes and exits.
With the recent ban wave, I'm wondering what others' plans are. There's been speculation that Blizzard is targeting people with 100 million+ gold gathered on accounts, but we've heard of at least one instance where a guy botted for only 5-10 hours on a single account and got banned. I think it's become accepted that Blizzard's scripts are targeting accounts that engage in uniformly repetitive actions, with special attention paid to a character's pathing.
So I'm curious. What exactly do you guys plan to do in the mean time? Any ideas on how to avoid getting caught even with fresh accounts?
