Frustrated and tired - last 5 releases of Honorbuddy all bugged - What is going on?

What is up with Honorbuddy lately?

I keep getting crashes, out of sync and other bugs..

Not a single Honorbuddy session the last 20 days has gone problemfree.. Always crashes, always bugs out, what is going on?

I wish I could just go back to 1.9.5.9 when everything was fine =(

Hi Tony, Yeah, Ive posted a couple of logs and crash reports etc etc..

Ive been using Honorbuddy a long while now, as you can see in my signature.. So I know what Im doing, CC-wise, profile-wise , and the usual reasons for every-day bugs..

It's just that ever since 1.9.6.0 was released and all the other releases came out, Ive experienced lots of big problems that I never had before.. Like crashes happening only while in Battleground, suddenly out of sync errors while PVE grinding.. and the char suddenly "walking backwards" while incombat, pulling 8 mobs and dying because it does no dmg (from the looks of it Honorbuddy stops all action when this happen, like its shut down).. , and several WOW crashes, with LUA errors etc etc, Ive never had these before.. lots of times Honorbuddy crashes with Wow, but not always.. Im really certain the crashes are related to Honorbuddy, and not corrupt files, as wow works fine when Im not running Honorbuddy..

I can post new logs if necessary.. Can you give me just some information on whats going on with Honorbuddy lately? Why so many releases with huge problems? What happened since 1.9.5.9? Why did you update honorbuddy in the first place since then, and why all the huge problems with the last releases? =(

Ive heard something about DDOS attacks? is this the reason for Honorbuddy malfunctioning bigtime?

You mean its possible to run earlier versions?

I concluded the Honorbuddy team removes Authentication availability for earlier versions except the last release..

Hmm no idea, at least for me i'm still running an old version cause i just was to lazy downling the most recent ones and copy my profiles over ;p
Then i read the QQing about the recent releases and am glad i'm still running an old one.

Remember tho that it is ofc suggested to always get the latest build because of securoty reasons etc, but i have both faith in bossland and like the trill of takin risks.

I hate posts like this. (Even though my honorbuddy is working fine).. The auths have been having problems and people complain and complain. Its just messed up.

It shouldn't be crashing your WoW though. If its a weird memory error check the wow forums.

I am also still using 1.9.6.0 with no Problems at all ! Maybe you want to switch back to an older Version.

Erm.. Your post doesnt make much sense You hate posts like this, even though your honorbuddy is working fine? You mean you hate posts like this AND ur honorbuddy is working fine..

And yeah sure, Ill just contact Blizzard about me having troubles running Honorbuddy, because Wow crashes from it.. Im sure theyll be happy to help

1.9.5.9 was my favorite version too! Everything worked smoothly then, plugins, CC's, profiles, everything ..

The last version that worked for me was 1.9.5.9 also . I haven't been able to use any other build since. = ( I've posted logs and what happens several times too.

1.9.6.1 was very stable for me. The subsequent versions have had some issues but were "mostly" stable.

Developing for multiple different configurations, operating systems, etc. must be a royal pain in the ass. Not to mention people never post bug reports the way they are supposed to, which makes it even harder for the devs to diagnose and correct the problems.

Give the devs a break. It's not that hard to go to archive and find an old version that works.

I had "Memory Could not be written" wow errors with the latest HB. 1.9.6.2827. When i went back to 1.9.6.1 they all dissappeared, odd coincidence...

Like I said, you can probably find an older version that works. If not, I'm sure they will be willing to work with you on support or issuing a refund.

The newest HB is rubbish. It is not stable and it apart from the latest issues it keeps crashing WoW randomly.

I rolled back to 1.9.6.1

Indeed 1.9.5.9 was the best so far, as most have said.
Before the questing beta was develop (and I don't know if there is something related to that but it's realted to the versions where it got implemented and improved), pvp was perfect in all ways, at least for me.
Got 2 lvl 80 through the old school grinding mode.
Now questing looks very promising but until we get there I think there will be many bugs to kill and thats why we gonna keep having all this frustration with unstable versions.
