Frost lotuses?

Hi..

Due to the last patch the frost lotuses have dropped in price, and i can say i got loads, but what do i do with them since the patch made them worhtless?

Make flasks.

Frost Lotus dropped from 15-20g each, to 6-7g each on my server.

However, the flask prices stayed at about 15g each.
 
im sitting on 900 frost lotus myself, cant sell them fast enough. i stil have 500 of each flask to sell also, they are down to 8-11g each on my realm. all my herbs are going to glyphs, pulling 8-10k a day on that and my supply isnt enough, had to start buying herbs from the AH/other farmers to keep up.
 
Sad you cant mill frost lotuses then :D They are crap to sell now. I try to sell a stack every day, normally it do sell eventually. but i get more lotuses than i can handle to sell.

And flasks sells like crap too..
 
yep could not agree more. flasks and lotus are not even worth selling for me atm. I believe their marketability is dead forever.

find private buyers.. sell 100 stacks lich 100 stacks icethorn and 100 frost lotus every day to a private buyer.. (he buys all i can farm just average about a 100 per day) somewhere between 2-4k a day

I sell always lich at 19g (not if price drops in AH then i sell cheaper, atm 33g per stack in AH)
icethorn is 10g fix price.
Lotus / Life ist always between 6 and 9g)

Only reason why herbin is profitable on this server.. on the other ones i have trouble finding herb buyers..

If you got a lot of problems and can't find a private buyer go mining.. saronite is gold at 12,5g per stack, and the eternals / gems / titanium ore still goes pretty well in AH if undercut by 15%

i've always found that making use of the raw material instead of just selling it makes more money... i sell 300-500 glyphs a day and easily pull in 6k, usually more. the frost lotus are just a leftover that i cant get rid of fast enough. eternal life used to sell good too but now i just give them to my main's guild leader for Insane grinding.
 
frost lotus has been at 5-7g on my server for months. I sell stacks of 20 for 75g. Makes me cry when i think how they usta sell for 75g each =(
 
I feel pretty successful with the current prices. On wildhammer I got 12k gold out of todays harvest. And on wildhammer thats about 32 Bucks.
 
Wouldn't a private buyer know that you're botting with the amount of materials you sell him everyday? Is it someone that you know really well?
 
any time i dealt with someone buying in bulk, it was dont ask dont tell. he was getting his materials at a better price and didnt want to ruin that. plus i always offer to trade them gold back for time cards, build a relationship and they are much more comfortable with it.
