So here is the deal i have a couple toons on horde side but i decided to me a alliance warrior. I'm using kaz 1-60 and i just have no gold what so ever to gear. I spammed /2 until i got 6g :) bought the level 5 mail and now im level 15. I was thinking that i could use the neutral AH and have my warrior sell something for 1k gold and have my horde main buy it in stv. But for the next 15 levels or so before i can do that idk what to do for gear.

BTW i picked up skinning and herb so i can possibly make some gold well the bot is doing its thing. Any ideas help!!!!!
 
Begging in /2 is pretty low, I definately disagree with doing that. Use your two gathering professions and farm some mats. The low level stuff sells pretty good. Make a bank alt to mail the stuff too.

Don't beg, it only makes you look bad.
 
buy cheap netherweave, ask a friendly tailor to make netherweave bags for you, sell them on the ah.
a stack cloth usually goes for 5g or less.. the bags sell for 10g or more.. 5g each profit.

it's not much but it beats begging for coins.
 
Honestly with two gathering professions starting out I was set. At level 15 you can farm elwynn forest easy and copper ore specifically will make you a lot of money even though it's such a low level mat.
 
Neutral AH wont work.. you cant bid on your own actions
 
or you could buy some gold buying gold isnt expensive anymore begging looks bad man
 
Begging is a great way to make starter gold. I usually take off all my gear so my toon is naked, I then pst high levels and tell them
"I was on my way to do free RFC runs for low levels when I was robbed by some trolls hiding under the SW bridge, they took my gear, my gold, and even my clothes. Now my family is living in a cardboard box. It would be a big help if you could spare a shilling or 10."

Gets em every time.

Eh, I made a DK, quested him to 60, leveled mining to 300 and made 500g by then to buy my flying, dual spec and food.. currently leveling by mining in hellfire.. all on a new server

Well your lt and there is the fact your a lt lol. Im using skinning and herb but seems kaz profile doesnt really kill monsters that can be skinned and i never see herbs
 
like the other said, make a death knight, and gatherbuddy him around gathering mats for you to sell... making easy money for what ever chars you have on that server.
 
To increase herbing/mining while leveling, I turn up my loot radius to 75 yards, it finds many more nodes that way.

I'm always surprised how much low level mats go for, it sure is a great way to make starter cash.

Death Knights are the best way to get started on a different server, so you are already on the right track.
 
See what low lvl mats sell well on your server, then gather them. I just started 2 days ago fresh toon, got skinning up as light leather is 40g a stack.
 
I made a druid, leveled 1-80 with skinning/lw. I made a lvl 1 bank alt to sent the leather to, every day I'd make the best gear I could.
by the time I was lvl 80 I made full lvl 78 gear then hit the dungeons, from that, and selling leather I made 13k gold.
