So, I've been lurking these forums hard and long for a while now and one of the biggest things I don't understand much is Framelock (maybe cause the amount of fucking math required for decipher ms/fps/etc)
What does it REALLY do other than inject stuff into the game really fast? Is it really needed?

I have a AMD FX 8350 @ 4.01ghz / 8GB RAM DDR3 Corsair Dominators with a GTX eVGA 760 Video card.

I pretty much put the TPS to 15-50 with hardlock on. I really dont know why... just looks right.

What could I do with my system?

Just turn it to 100, if you get lag then start to turn it down by 5 until it runs smoothly. Framelock is a system that helps the bot interact with the game more reliably.

As a healer I run Softlock at 30 tps, usually works even in heavy raid environments on my crappy PC. Wish I could tune it up more and/or use Hardlock. As a DPS (Melee atleast) I can't use any framelock.. Not sure why but the fps goes down to <3 fps in heavy raid environment as melee but not as a healer.. Probably a lot more decisions for the bot to make or something?

framelock should always be enabled. without, many things in HB can fail (especially moving).
my TPS are at default 15, never really noticed a difference besides than more CPU load

Wow crashed for me on 15tps while doing dungeons. With 30 no prob.

Don't feel bad. I have a watercooled 4790 @ 5ghz and 4 Titans and with hardlock on I lose up to 100fps.

Just hanging out outside soo I get ~130fps @ 4680x2560 with everything maxed. I start combat and it ends up between 25-50fps. I play melee as well.

Never checked another class but perhaps that has something to do with it.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more efficient and "healthy" pc so I'm at a loss regarding the issue. No clue if it's due to the high resolution and the fact hb is only 32bit or the specific CR (which does say it supports framelock)

Apart from the aesthetic annoyance of having a 10k rig and getting miserable performance - Im in our servers only 14/14M guild and I'm constantly torn between running without framelock and having good fps or with framelock and having what's supposed to be superior dps (never compared the two, how big is the difference supposed to be?)

I'm on a freshly formatted pc running no plugins, the cr with all but the essentials disabled, and no addons in wow except for dbm, skada, and postal.

At a loss. I keep the tps at 200 which I thought was the issue so I dropped it to 30 which did all of nothing.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
