hello
im running multiple dungeonbuddy bots on single pc and i was wondering about seting frame lock 2 have best (gph/smooth work/bots per pc) results
my question is about frame lock and "tps"
what is better
low tps with frame lock on ?
high tps framelock on ? ( less bots per pc ?)
low tps frame lock off ?
and frame lock in general setting Vs framelock in singular what is the diference if eny ?

its annoying is what it is. i really can't see how there is not one setting that works for everyone. is software that sketchy and incompatible that you need different setting to optimize hb?

tps is your fps. you want to set that near your average operating fps. so if you get 20 fps in a raid, you would set tps to 20.

you have framelock in the hb settings, that may or may not have any affect since you have framelock settings in Enyo as well.

my most used CR recommends you use one setting, unless that setting is bad, then use the other setting.

then there is soft lock, and hard lock. The CR i use most recommends hard lock over soft lock. but if it wasnt used for something, then why include the setting.

so to sum it up. set your tps to your average fps. then start with hard lock. then try soft lock. but never both at the same time.

and if that doesnt work. buy an alligator and sneak into Tony's yard. hide the alligator in his bushes. maybe it will eat his poodle.

thx... but problem is recently my fps droped from 25+ (limited to 18) on 15 wow's to 1-2 fps in extrem situation when running 10 wow's (only with hb running) from what info i was able 2 find it can be Frame lock's foult so if i get fps drops so low my tps setting will be 4 (lowest) ? or the solution is 2 set fps limit around 20 turn of Frame lock and set tps 20 ?

p.s. im using singular and im not riding

HB is not currently optimized for this problem. there have been many threads started to address this situation. you may look in those threads for ideas how to fix.

i did look on forum but nothing helped i end up finding less then optimal but working solution after whole nigh tweeking setings :) but still i aware that my knowlage is very limited and im hoping for somone explaining (maybe with some math) whole "hb framelock-tps-rutine framelock" mechanics

ps if eny one is intrested :
tank 13-15 tps framelock on in rutine and hb minimal plugins low (10-15) loot radius 18fps
heal ( dps with healing spells ) 10tps FL hb & rutine minimal mid plugins (loot related) 50 loot radius 18 fps
dps range 7-8 tps minimum plugins FL in rutine only lootradius 10-15 13 fps
dps mele 7-8 tps mini plug FL hb + rutine minimal plugs LR-10-15 13 fps
difrence in settings depends on my cpu in my pc's
befour "not optimised" hb i was running on FL on, tps 20, fps 20+, loot radius 50+, and all my plugs, on all my toons with pc1 70-85% pc2 55-75% cpu usage
now pc1 98-100% pc2 90-100%
ps2 i had 2 expend my ram after 6.0.2 but this is (mostly) becouse of WoW demand

Hi, all,

You should prefer leaving framelock on as much as possible.

We are actively working on permanently-enabling framelock, as it provides enormous performance benefits and allows the bot to do more. However, before we can do that, we must eliminate coding techniques that conflict with this desire. These techniques are in some legacy HBcore code, and many third-party offerings. We are actively working with the various parties to get this resolved.

Until then, framelock on as much as possible. Turn it off in situations where it causes problems.

cheers,
chinajade
