Fpsware Shadow Priest *DPS TEST ONLY*

So your saying 99% of the time VT is cast with < 5 stacks of DE?

So your saying 99% of the time VT is cast with < 5 stacks of DE?

I'm not sure if thats what buzzerbeat was saying...

I dont mean DPS wise, i mean recast wise. Still 99% after the first archangel was a VT recasted without 5 evangelism stacks.

It really doesnt hurt much, but if you try to get max dps, why not.

... but if it is, I've now added additional options for Vampiric Touch and Devouring Plague:
  • ... only on 1+ Dark Evangelism
  • ... only on 2+ Dark Evangelism
  • ... only on 3+ Dark Evangelism
  • ... only on 4+ Dark Evangelism
  • ... only on 5+ Dark Evangelism
If you only want to cast VT & DP when you have X stacks of DE then will do it for you. But you will need to make sure you change the spell priority of Archangel, VT & DE in the rotation menu. By default Archangel will be considered before VT & DP.

My goal is to see this CC used for both questing/grinding and pure raid/instance DPS. But as this CC continutes to develop (further down the question / grinding path) and I'm adding more and more 'general' features I've noticed a tiny decrease in the overall DPS output from the combat prioritisation system setup. While this is only ~100ms performance drop because of all the additional (questing/grinding) feature checks I didn't want it to suffer when it comes to raid/instance DPSing. So to that, I've added a new setting in the UI 'Raid DPS Only'.

Raid DPS Only, when enabled this will skip every 'general' spell logic check and only execute the combat prioritisation process. Basically, it is an accompanying feature for the Lazy Raider setting where you only want to focus on DPS and nothing but pure DPS! It does not worry about checking if you have low mana and need to use the wand, it does not perform any buff checking, it does not drink, it does not do anything but execute the combat system.

Could this be added as a drop down in the Lazy Raider options? IE [Lazy Raider = never, always, dps only]

That was my original choice, but after thinking about how I would use it I decided to add it as a new setting. 'Lazy Raider' simply disables all movement and target facing logic. 'Raid DPS Only' skips certain (a lot) of spells. But there are times when I want to disable movement and have full spell checking or DPS only.

In a battleground (when I can be bothered) I have Lazy Raider on (disable movement) but I still want the CC to heal, eat, drink, cast the pull spell and buff. Or there are times when I'm in an instance and I only want to go balls to the wall hard out DPS.

So we can use the DPS only with movement and facing? I thought it would only be for using with no movement/facing

Yes. During an instance/raid sometimes I might be doing something else, or want to make a tweak in my code while my character is fighting and I will turn off Lazy Raider, thereby allowing the character to move and face the target requiring little to no interaction by me. This is a feature I felt was missing from my previous CCs but never got around to making the required changes.

The one thing that I absolutely love about software developing is being able to add all the tiny changes and tweaks that would make something perfect for me. With CCs for the most part I write what I want do or see in a CC, no matter how small or insignificant others might see it. This is one of those features that if I add now while I'm in the early stages of development it will save a lot of time in the future.

When all is said and done, I guess it could be added as additional options to the Lazy Raider setting [No Movement, No Movement & Normal DPS, No Movement & Pure DPS], but I still feel the 2 settings should be segregated.

And for that, we love and appreciate your work.

Until you vanish for months, then we feel abandoned.

My therapist told me to let go, so I fired him.

Damn it... now you have me thinking LOL....

Lazy Raider
  • Never
  • No Movement
  • No Movement + DPS
  • DPS
Never = well, just that. Don't do anything different
No Movement = kind of self explanatory
No Movement + DPS = don't move and high DPS output
DPS = Movement and high DPS output

Suggestions and comments?????

Lazy Raider.... or Raid Bot? Have you checked out Raid Bot? 30 fps and no plugin's.

I think having them in one drop down box clears it up a little, but if you want two drop down boxes it's functional, and if you want to have the "Lazy Raider" option effectively just as a disable movement+facing as you always have done, maybe you should have 2 options.

This is what I ended up deciding on :)

When I use the term 'Lazy Raider' I'm usually refering to "HB playing DPS while you supervise and disable movment", I have used the term 'lazy raider' for as long as Bobby has developed the Lazy Raider botbase it kind of just happened around the same time. When I say lazy raider I don't usually mean Bobby's botbase LOL. I use Raid Bot for almost all of my testing and Combat Bot when I want to do 'normal play' testing.

Time to level up my priest then. This looks quite amazing! +rep from me!

And here is the final Lazy Raider setting, complete with fully descriptive tooltip.

EDIT: Yes, the double word issue has been fixed :p

This is still a work in progress and I have only just now finalised the spell priority system. It is not suitable for a questing/leveling CC at this stage, there is no movement, pulling or healing logic in the CC.

"A very power setting" powerful*

"use all spells available available" -available

Apart from that, very easy to follow, and as tidy as possible. I like.

The tooltip has been updated to indicate some spells are are not available using Combat Spells Only (CSO) and No Movement (NoMove).

Example. When you hover over Rest Health it will tell you this will not be used when Lazy Raider is set to CSO & NoMove.

Ah, btw. there are no Movement checks right?

Because Spamming DP/SWD while moving is a great dps increase depending on the fight.

And love your new options. Thanks for the stacks check before casting DP/VT, but im scared it will delay dp/vt and so will decrease the dps.

why cant i save the options? i cant make it use sadowform and other spells at the same tab as shadowform :( :(

Instant spells will still be cast.
