Fpsware Death Knight

i am tanking cata hc's with this well but can be much better if there was Rune Strike included, Geath Strike doesnt do any shit threat anymore , atm i press that myself between hes rotation, and i still try to make him use diseases first then start any other hits... seems kinda not possible :) but is manageable.

Heya FPS. Fresh install of HB 2.0.0.5063. Fresh install of Fpsware Death Knight. Have re-installed several times.

The issue: When pressing the Class Config button a Microsoft .NET Framework error pops up as follows:

Code: 
Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.  Could not find a part of the path "C:\users\desktop1\desktop\honorbuddy_2.0.0.5063\kick\kick's profiles\1-85 Questing Profile Pack\BC\Custom Classes\Fpsware Death Knight\Class Specific\Settings\Settings\UIElements.xml"

Why it is looking for your UI files there I have no idea as they are installed where they should be in my Custom Class Folder.

When you press continue, the UI config window opens, but it is pretty much a blank grey screen where all of the option selection menu's should be.

Full txt of the error message, as well as my log, is included as attachments.

Update and more info: I moved Kick's profile folder into the Default Profiles folder and tried again. Same error message, except it followed the directory changed to where Kick's profile had been moved. *boggle*

If and when the family issue has resolved (hopefully for the better for all concerned) can we at least have the option of Rune Strike (id 56815) as a RP dump instead of Death Coil for blood based builds? Unless the target is out of melee range, in which case use DC.

Does this CC have the capability for Lichborne healing?

Also, I'm using Kick's LK questing profile with blood based settings in the CC. Just outside Valiance Keep the bot just stands there while being pummelled with scarabs or flame from the Crypt Crawlers and Scourged Flamespitters. I had to manually start the attack. Log attached.

Bot is not able to use flght paths with this cc. CC is to stupid to eat the food in the bag. he says theres is no food but the whole bag is full.

I had this issue, but fixed it just by placing a /customclass/Fpsware Death Knight into the directory that it was looking for it.

This also happened for me for my rogue.
 
downloaded the svn in costume class working fine attacking and all , but when i hit settings & tools the window dosnt pop up :\ why is that happenin
ps. settings & tools window works fine with other CCs
 
If I try loading profiles which are not located in the root folder the CC isn't working at all. Thats why I have to keep the profiles in the root folder which is not really convenient.

I went from frost 2H to DW and dropped about 2k in dps.
Anyone have any good settings for DW frost?



Zacharybinx34 it might be my settings but frost with just the default settings beats unholy on my chr at least.

In full PVP gear I can't get the DK to do more then 8K on a target dummy as frost. With my warrior in the exact same gear it does 15K
 
Zacharybinx34 I was doing about 13k on a dummy with stock settings and a 2H about a week and a half ago.
I tried the new hb and installed this and set it to the stock frost settings and went to the dummy with same eq and did 9K.
I switched to DW and did 7K I wish I had DW to test when I was doing 13K in 2H

Has frost been nerfed in some way? I am not sure what is going on.

More than likely its operator error LOL

The default CC does higher DPS than this one now for me - at least the updated default.

FPSWare must be busy as most of his CC's are getting out date. They should hire him imo!
 
DW Frost and 2h Frost should have the same settings, but they've different stat-prioritys which could explan the dps-loss

u know ->
dw frost STR > Haste > Mastery > Crit
2h frost STR > Master > Haste > Crit

(i left exp and hit, they should be capped)

But all in all my Frost drops in DPS too (hand playing both ... dw and 2h) but no 2k dps maybe 200 - 600
 
did a little tweaking and now I am trying to run heroics and can't.
He is kicking ass with about 15K and the tanks keep wanting to kick me ROFL
It is tough with frost to keep from pulling agro on the groups.
OH ITS TORTURE but I will make it.

What did you change?
 
zach I will post my settings when I get home. I didn't change a lot and I think I need to take howling blast out and replace with icy touch.
I go into a group and its 10 seconds in and I have agro on everything. Poor tanks?

FPS can it be set so that we only do Howling blast on bosses?
I need to test and see if it makes that much dps difference on single target.
Is there any way to have multi configs?
 
I tried the default but for some reason my chr was swinging very slowly.
also it was using blood strike and we don't do that in frost any more
blood of the north talent

this cc doing frost dw with blood tap build... i pull about on average 16k dps at ilvl 367 (13k on test dummies)
with necrophilia( wish he didn;t give up on his projects awesome cc coder) i am pulling 20-22k dps...(17k on test dummies)

by hand i am pulling 24-26k dps

Who said I was giving up on my projects? I've been extremely busy with 'life' over the last 3 weeks. My wife has been in and out of hospital over 2 weeks, I started a new job last week and I have other obligations to deal with.

I've not given up on anything; development will continue - time permitting.
 
Take care of the truly important stuff FPS. These CC's aren't going anywhere.
