they are reading the pcs ..they just banned an account that the person owning it don't bot...don't know how to bot..but, we all share pcs so blizz just axed us all ..no warning for him ..just 6mo banned his 10 year account... they are being real jerks.
 
well, i used HazzNyo + Blade of the Assassin(free rogue cr in forum) for 2 days.

1 evening each day. full manual movement. no auto kick cast or whatever.

first day: 4 hours hfc nhc raid.
second day: 5 hours hfc hc raid.

suspended now. believe me or not, say what you want... i know what i did. it is detectable.
 
It is 100% detectable.

My only concern is will we be lied too? Are we going to be told oh yah we figured out how they are detecting your safe to buy buddy products, then 6 months later another banwave and the response is oh sorry we thought it was something else, oops thanks for the monies.
 
Has been since last time. The few people here with half a brain knew this and said so. The majority (as you can ascertain statistically by looking at the bell curve) flamed about that fact of course.

Proofs in the pudding and it's mighty tasty.

Let me know when hb gets that x64 client going they've put off for a decade. No wait, dont. Done with wow and hb.
 
If that's true, how can blizzard legally scan a pc to see if another program is installed on it, and then punish for it? That's like microsoft banning you from windows updates because you use google chrome instead of ie or something lol
 
I don't think they're scanning your PC for the program. If that's how they're doing it they'd have to be very intrusive about it, my copy of honorbuddy isn't even on the computer running it. It's on another computer on the network.

Apoc gave them the stormbuddy source code. It is likely that Apoc gave them more than that though. They may not have the honorbuddy source code, but who knows what they do have or what information they were able to learn from the stormbuddy code. The last ban wave happened before they got their hands on that code, so their detection system was in place before that incident. Getting more information will only allow them to improve their detection methods.
