I've been asked a couple times by new users about what profile they should use and tips I could give them to having a safe botting experience. Well these are the rules I try to go by:
1. Do not run a sarkoth profile - the more frequent you log in and out the more you look like a botter.
2. Do not run for long hours - try not to run 12+ hours or go into the next day often. Meaning try not
to run the bot over excessively.
3 Switch profiles more often - blizzard will not believe that even the most hardcore gammer its gonna
not take bathroom breaks or eating breaks, while running the same profile over a couple of hours in
the same amount of time. so yes you will look like a botter running core of arreat
1000+ times.
4.Running Profiles - first find a profile your toon can handle that is allowing you to make descent money,
don't take the fast and easy try to take profiles that take a little longer to run, may not be
the fastest or the most but may look less suspicious.
5. Do not add people you don't - in my opinion your friends might think your getting hacked if they see
the bot logging in and out. In most cases weather wow, d3, or really any mmo probably about
50-60% bans are coming from over players reporting you.
6. If you are going to have friends on your list - make sure that you can trust them.
You do not want a jealous friend who finds out how much gold or items
your making and freak out and black male ya over them.
7. Trust worthy friends and chatting - I often had a friend that new I botted so while I botted
I would chat back and forth with them looks better then being
silent and NEVER type anything in a trade window a whisper or any chat in that manner that you are
botting or how your botting is going, If you wanna
brag, Call the person on the phone or text. In Most cases trust no one when it comes to botting.
8.Final and foremost THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SAFE BOTTING - unfortunately it is true, every time
you bot there is always a chance. So like the
saying goes live life like its your last day its always like that when botting in the game because at any
moment something could have happen weather it be the bot glitched and stuck or you forgot to log
out. Just be careful and have fun. And if you do get banned for botting never admit to it,
this is not stating you will get your account back but may give you a shot because this isn't like wow
were you got 24-48 hour ban its full ban
no if and's or buts about it, and blizzard doesn't care if your grandma died while running over your cat
so don't always expect you'll get your account back.
Those are just some standard botting rules I've used on wow and on my second account and never been
banned so far (Knock on wood) I got careless on my first D3 adding people
and got screwed in the end. I hope this doesn't discourage anyone and hope everything works out for ya. You can message me anytime if you have more questions.e things I live by most of them will be probably repeated quite a bit through out the site, but here you go.
