[Fly][H - Quest] 58-69 Outland

I don't know why this is. When flying somewhere it shouldn't care about NAV and after he is done flying he should be able to pickup from where he lands. I my self while testing the profile have had zero nav errors whit exception of west zangermarsh. Could you tell me exactly what he was doing in the best detail you can remember?
 
i really dont know what i am doing wrong, but its not flying at all
 
I purchased both flying mount, and the training for it, and that flying licence aswell... But bot says "Buy flying mount, okay?"
 
This is exactly the same issue i got .. and i dont know why, but my character isn't buying any water (im leveling a priest!)
 
If the bot is telling you that you need to buy a flying mount it because you don't have one of the fallowing things:

* Flying is enabled on the Honorbuddy account
* The toon has a riding skill of 225 or higher
* The toon has at least one flying mount
* If the test is conducted in Eastern Kingdoms, Deepholm, or Kalimdor, you also must have the Flight Master's License
* If the test is conducted in Northrend, you also must have Cold Weather Flying.

So make sure you start the profile in outland


If yes then I would like to know the fallowing things.
1 Have you ever used an flying profile before?
2 What quest are you on? (what does it say in blue behind questing)
3 Did you just start the profile or did it stop while you didn't touch it?


The profile works you 2 must be doing something wrong in your settings. There might be small bugs but full out not doing anything at all then it must be you.

I need to add food vendors for this. It's a relative new feature haven't had the time. Should be done today

I'm having trouble where my tauran is not dismounting all the time from his flight mount. I see him hovering from time to time and I end up pressing X for him to land before he attacks.

If I don't get to them, they eventually disconnect from lack of activity.

Is there a solution for this where I don't have to intervene?

I know the problem. My guess is your using Durid as CC which is a great cc but does have some range issues. What your describing will happen when he mounts up and wants to fly away but isn't high enough and wants to attack a mob. I currently have no fix for this and am going to simply blame the CC maker. It is also to random it will only happen if a mob is in front of the way it's flying.

What you could try is setting the pull distance to 25 (the range of feral charge)

One way to mitigate this issue from within the profile is to use the new UserSettings CB before each FlyTo to set the PullDistance to 5 or so: Honorbuddy Custom Behavior: UserSettings - Buddy Wiki

That being said, this really is a CC issue so don't blame Eddie if he doesn't want to bend over backwards to compensate for flawed CC logic. As always, kudos on the profile.

P.S. It also happens on my Tauren DK.

EDIT. Just tried it. I think it will sort of work. The DK bot is not being knocked off it's mount, so I think it will end up dying, ressing and then combatting. Not the most elegant way. Would prefer something nicer. If it forces the dismount, it will work ok.

The latest HB change log said this

FLYTO - now automatically sets the PullDistance to 1.
The PullDistance is restored to its original value when:
1) the behavior completes normally
2) Honorbuddy is stopped
Now (temporarily) turns off all forms of harvesting to prevent undesirable dismounts.
The harvesting will be restored to original settings when the behavior completes, or
Honorbuddy is stopped.

Seems like this should fix your problem.
 
It mounts up on my flying mount but then when its time to dismount it just says " stop and dismount".....but he doesnt dismount.....any ideas?

I have seen this in other profiles as well. Must be something whit the questbehavior.
 
had the same problems with several profiles after updating to hb 4492.

deleted it and used 4354 again and everything works like a charm :)
 
I'm using the flying profile on my 61 Rogue and it keeps popping up a window telling me to get a flying mount but I have 3. I have tried typing the name in the box, and having the different boxes checked and unchecked.

I have uploaded the new version it no longer checks if you can fly but don't come back that it isn't flying. Remember that you need to have a flying mount and have HB fly support as well

(feeling lazy today didn't want to debugg)
 
I'm gonna giving it another try, as soon as my new shaman hits 58 ..

Perhaps i can share some experience
 
the ground version isn`t afk`able. But if you babysit from time to time , it`l be allright , except @ halaa , wich the situation starts to suck hard.
