I?m soon gonna reach plvl100 on my main account (yes i know that its risky to bot on that). But i?m planning to stop once i hit 100, but what if my account has already been flagged, will i then still get banned lets say in 2 weeks when i suddenly try to login?

If anyone can share their knowledge with me on this topic i?d be happy.

If you are flagged, it is my understanding that you will get banned no matter if you stop now or dont.

But how does that make any sense, why aren?t they just banning you on the spot then? From my understanding flagged accounts was accounts under investigation, so lets say you get rid of the evidence before they look into you, then you should be all good aight ?

after stop botting just w8 till next bannings , if you survive feel safe to gear it up

If they banned every "flagged" account as soon as they found out they were botting alot of people would stop botting (due to accounts getting banned very quickly and making no profit)

Hence Blizz would make less money from the sales of new accounts and the RMAH sales.

So they flag them, let them go til next banwave, then ban them. Everybody wins.

Only way to know for sure is to stop botting and see. Could be lucky.

Skof, it's just the way it is. If you have been doing this long enough whether its d3 , sc2 whatever once you get flagged you done. The timeline in which the ban occurs can be completely later date.

To answer your question, yes if you got flagged two weeks ago you gonna get banned.

I'm in the same situation as you. I have kept a p100 and plan on keeping it. I have stopped botting on it, and am waiting a while before actually dumping my good gear on him.

That makes sense, so i should basically just funnel all my gear, start botting on that new account i planned on and just wait and see if im lucky?

One final question tho, lets say i stop this weekend, and i survive 1 month without a ban. But im still using the same computer/IP to bot on another account. Can that compromise my current account aswel?

This entire discussion is moot because there is no way of knowing if you're flagged. If you need to make a decision, make a decision based on the evidence or what you know. I would stop if you want to minimize risk.

Last night I switched from keyfarming to one of the act3 scripts and within 5 minutes of doing so i was kicked from the server due to suspicious behaviour - requiring to authenitcate via blizzard web site. I did so, authenticating with email, changed password and everything worked again... I was a little concerned as I only have one account (but not too emotionally attached to D3).

Just prior to switching scripts I won a 500+M bid... was this the cause?

Quite possibly..
I think if switching to a profile flagged you that would pretty much mean DB is detected wouldn't it. No I think it was that big buyout/bid.

^ but if this was the cause wouldnt everyone get a suspicious activaty. It would be full of post from ppl buying 500mil items

I have never purchased any single item that cost that much so I wouldn't know, Is this not routine then ?..
OP did you login from a very different IP ? My account was once temp banned for suspicious activity as I used my iPhones connection(3G) to connect to D3 using tethering as opposed to my land DSL line which I usually used... So 2 very different ISPs and IPs as a result..

How do you folks know you're flagged anyway?

They are banning in waves probably because ppl assigned to carry out this process are assigned to other duties normally, and only from time to time they take few days to revive proofs which are gathered automatically, and perform bans. Probably this is either very arduous task, or they doesnt care much about bots in d3, because in WoW they can ban u within few days of 24/24 farming, while in d3 it takes at least several weeks till nearest wave.
