Fix for Crusader LoN CoE problem - new Trinity .53 !

hey guys,

seems the problem with the not working CoE bombardement rotation got fixed in the new .53 trinity that you can download via SVN. as not all are able to download it from there i did the work for you.

what you have to do now:

delete

<DB Folder>\CompiledAssemblies\<Folder inside> (looks like 639793223457593445)

and

<DB Folder>\Plugins\Trinity

and replace the plugin with the folder included in the .zip in this thread.

Have fun :) it worked for me (tried trinity .13, .42 and .48 without positive results but the updated .53 now seems to work)

@ mods: if it is against the forum roles to post this please feel free to delete the thread.

It does improve a little bit the COE problem.

Nevertheless the huge problem is steed charge. In current version Steed Charge is always kiting the elites. In the past steed charge was running over the elite.

This is 60% of the overall dps to elites that is being lost.
Manually at 65 rfits with my current gear and Iron Skin + steed charge I can kill an elite with 1 charge. (swiftmount being used) .

steed charge was never meant to kill elites... it is a nice benefit but clearly too weak to do any nice impact to 70+ mobs. steed charge is meant to bring you faster to the next packs with a nice additional damage (and maybe finishing the last few % ).

i am running 74 currently and just using it to bring me faster to the next pack running all over the trash between and that works like it was in 2.4.
 
I also dont feel like steed charge is dealing much damage. Never in the world 60%. Probably 10%.

this! is it... steed charge @ 70+ might kill cheap skeletons if you perma charge over them for 5-10 seconds, but big mobs or even elite? no way...

good skill to ride fast through mobs but not even near a serious dps skill :D
 
In previous versions of trinity the use of steed charge was perfect.

When COE: Bombardent--> consecreation-->iron skin--> steed charge over elite.

In TX I can kill any Keywarden just by one >iron skin--> steed charge not even waiting for COE I don't think that is a 10%

Maybe in grift 75s 80 it is much less yes, but in 65s it is very important the damage of steed charge.
 
when you are playing with swiftmount and have the necessary CD for the CoE cycle you have hardly 1 or maybe 2 seconds downtime of steedcharge.... i do not get your problem... if you worry about too much downtime, then just stack more cdr...

beside that i recommend to go for 70+, get yourself a doombringer, put swiftmount on your bank (useful for bounties or normal rifts) and get it on...

and i think that the current rotation is optimized for the CoE cycle as nobody really cares for steedcharge as dps skill like i already mentioned. good for moving but for dps? no way...
