Fix For Champion Crashes

I have included Champion Farming version 1.7, written by Radonic. This is because I am quite sure the current crashing issues are due to the profilemanager plugin not being 100% compatible with the newest version of DB.
A later version would have been ideal, but this one was all I had.

I also included a version of Giles Monster Priority before it skipped all trash mobs. I did this to boost my paragon EXP. Use if you wish.

I don't get why everyone is saying their DB is crashing, I have downloaded all the latest plugins / profiles needed to run the champ farming profile and it runs fine??

The most important thing is to make a clean new folder, since the old DB is obsolete now you might as well deleted your old one!

I made a new clear folder and about 5 hours or so my one of my bots will lock up then D3 will crash. Ive gone through new releases a few times now. So i know to get fresh install fresh install of plugins. Ive also done 0 plug ins and it still crashes. Ive also done belph combat profile generic combat profile and giles combat replacer.

Run the above profiles with anti-idle plugin as well.

The combination should get you back running 24/7.

Its not optimal, lose alot of the work the writers put into the latest updates, but its a good temp fix.

I updated all my plugins and DB and I get crashes every 5-45mins

I think its DB latest problem, everyone is same exceot u i guess ?you got lucky didnt crash at all?
because I've been working the latest DB whole day try to setup. and my bot still stuck sometimes. im running sarkoth+wretch atm.
and also turn on and off the Plugging finally only Giles Plugging works for me so far. I delete all DB folder and install new one with winzip it can longest 30 min but it stuck at beginning entrance of sarkoth or queen

People are saying it is crashing because it is. Not everyones computers are the same and it could be some little tiny detail causing the issue. I did a fresh install with the recommended plugins for it just like everyone else and I crash. Usually I will get a grid segment resetting and the bot will stop before it crashes now though. Just have to wait for an update from the devs as to what is causing it and what to do to fix it.

does anyone one know when you crash does it send the report the blizzard? the only options are to 'close' and 'reopen' no send button but im a little worried the crash is automatically reported

I do not advise anybody run an older version of monster priority version - there is absolutely no reason to.

Simply increase the kill radius in the config from the low level, to say, 25-35.

Ta-daaa - you can continue using the newest version, and have it not ignore trash mobs at slight-range.

You can also do the same in the combat replacer plugin, if you use that instead of monster priority changer (and tbh, you should be! ).

Always check what config settings a plugin might have!

Also, a number of us have tried ruling out the crashes - and found they still happen even with a single simple routine and no plugins. I'm not saying older versions of profile manager might not increase crash counts (I have no idea), but removing it certainly won't stop you from crashing - the newest DB's have issues at the core.

I think just ignore it? I didnt click either one. I just hit X to close it and reopen Diablo 3

It's because it doesn't run the same way on everyone's system. It runs reasonably well for me on 2 of my machines. On a third machine which is Win7 X86, it doesn't allow me to change any of the settings and doesn't see any plugins - yes all were brand spanking new installs. Clearly there are some issues that need to be worked out and some of these issues are machine/os/memory specific.

Overnight i had 2 bots run perfectly on 215 0 restarts ( 2 monks) my barb bot kept crashing. Upgraded this morning on 217 and now all 3 of my bots randomly crash BUUUUUT using DRelog really makes it not THAT big of a deal the occasional crash. All plugins updated and working with DRelog - GilesStash/Combat/WorldObject and ProfileSwitcher, just let it restart itself and go off and do your own thing. Earliest a crash happened was 30mins and with a reasonably geared char you'd already be near the end of your champ run so dc'ing once wouldn't hurt much anyways.

I'd be willing to zipup my entire DRelog folder to share but I have a small tweak to the profileswitcher plugin which requires you to put your folders in C:\profiles, pm me if you want my DRelog.

just put them in the DRelog Demonbuddy Bot corefolder instead? no need to change code I posted this when Rad released the profile in segments for the death handling

I highly suggest using DRelog, with Breaktaker plugin and setting randomization up for a 3-5 hour run time with a 1 hourish off time and use breaktaker with a 4-20m randomization break within the 3-5 run period. Been running this way now for a while with no ban.

Thanks for the tip about the newest monsterpriority release giles, I'm onto the newest one again.

As for the profile. My problem was not so much crashing, as it would just simply not load certain zones after completing a section of the profile.

I think this was due to the profile manager as I said, although I could very well be wrong.

Either way, it seems to be working properly for now.

Only my bot running champions profile is crashing. My other bot is still running Crypts and hasn't crashed at all. :/

Only plugins my champions bot is running is:

but it seems to crash at least once a hour, closing both DB and D3. My crypt bot which hasn't crashed at all isn't running any plugins atm.

Well whatever is causing the crashes I dont know but using what OP suggested my bot has been running for 3-4 hours now. But i did disable RadsProfileManager and a few others.
