Fishing, HB, and botting?

Since I've been gone from WoW for so long...and I saw a thread here about "what will you be doing in Cataclysm" etc., I saw some people mention using HB to do some fishing.

Since I can't try it until HB is out again _and_ since I literally have not fished since vanilla WoW... I'm wondering, but some mentioned it looks botish while fishing but you can do it in out of way places, walking on water, etc.

I would think, from what I remember, that fishing is about the only thing that would NOT look bottish since it's such a simple, repetitive behavior it's perfect for a bot.

Why does fishing standout as bottish using HB and one of the fishing plugins?

Or is it more that you shouldn't stand there for 3 hours constantly fishing kind of thing?

Looking forward to raising my fishing past 1 soon ;P

when i fish bot i usually chat with random people around be between cast's that makes me look less bottish but yes fishing botting are pretty good as long as you don't over do it

well if you're doing it standing still, casting 3000 times in a row, with a 0 millisecond pause between casts, magically picking the bobber in the 1st .1 secs after it's been up. Yeah it can look a wee bit bottish.

but, of course, the auto-angler plugin can fish pools only, so it's insanely nice.

but on another note, i've got max fishing on 6 or more toons, and it's a great money maker.

I would think (hope) that given what you've said, maybe add a user defined millisecond (or second) random time gap between casting and clicking on bobber, so it seems more random...and real?

What do you mean fishing pools? Sorry its been so long :/

pools of fish. you don't fish up any trash/garbage if you fish from a pool. they're just schools of fish you see in bodies of water. auto-angler can travel between them and only fish from them. i've asked for the random pauses, and been ignored.

no what I said when I said that fishing looked bottish was that we could afk in spots where 90% of the people don't go and it has the lowest ban risk.
