First time tripwire

Hi guys this is my first time experiencing a tripwire event was just wondering how long does this usually last, few hours, few days, a week? a month? sorry if I'm not supposed to post questions about this I read the sticky but was just wondering thanks
 
yes I know they will update that page with any new information, however I was wondering how long it has taken in the past I also know that it will vary based on what kind of changes were made on the blizzard side and what has to be done by the bossland team I was just looking for a ballpark figure an estimate so to speak
 
That depends on several factors , first the complexity of the update Tripwire and secondly the speed of the developer. Keeps in mind that their priority is the protection of accounts and it takes time .

balls park would be: 5 hours to 4 weeks

Last time in December Tripwire was active for about 3 days.
