Thanks to ad3ddd for giving me some great insight and help in a previous thread.

This is my first time building my own computer and am pretty excited about it. The goal was to keep costs low and build a computer that will run 5 D3 bots. Basically this thread is to make sure everything is compatible and that I did not make a huge mistake. I don't need comments on the quality of stuff or better choices. The goal was to get something that had SLI support just in case I added another card in the future. Thanks for your input!

AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5 Ghz 6 Core
Zalman Optima Cooler for CPU
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 240 pin
ASRock MB-970EX4 Socket AM3+ SLI ready
Kenteck 800W Power Supply SLI ready
Rosewill ATX Challenger (has 3 fans)
Crucial M4 256GB SSD
24x DVD/RW CD

Already have a brand new Geforce 660

This build is NOT solely for botting as I never claimed it was. My apologies for all the Nazis.

Why the hell u wanna buy that build? U said it has to be cheap. 800w PS is too oversized. Crucial is very fine, but why 256gb? Thats oversized for 5 bots. A DVD? Cut that shit, u dont need a DVD anymore.
With a few bucks more and a bit saving here and there, u can buy intel and go for 10-12 bots.

And now the BIG BUT: You know about the market? You know about the price drops last night? Eu is @ 3.80 and Us @ 4.50 per 100mil. Round both to 4/100 and calc for yourself. Each bot will catch u 2€ per day ;)

I guess you missed the part where I said I didn't need your opinions..
800W is perfect if need to SLI/Quad. I have a 500W as a backup
I have always wanted a SSD that will fully replace my HD. I want to run EVERYTHING off an SSD.
I did not want an Intel, strictly AMD.
And I needed a DVD/CD drive because I burn DVDs......

This computer is a much needed upgrade for my current desktop is was not bough for just botting.
I already have an i7 3770k system on my laptop

And I am not sure how you are getting 4.5/100 mil for US? I am still selling 500 million/per week on AH for $18/100 mil
 
Ill tell you how i used my old PC and how much i get out off it.

AMD X4 955 BE 3.2 Ghz 4 Core
Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 Pro
Asus M5A87
12 GB DD3 1600 Mhz (4 slots, 2,2,4,4) Some Kingstons and Corsair Vengeance
LC 6450GP2 450W V2.2
ZOTAC GeForce GT610 Zone Edition (Passive Cooling)
Cheap 80 GB Sata Drive
No DVD-ROM

5 BOTS
I have a modified d3prefs file with 15 fps max.
CPU usage is 80-100% -> 54* C (yeah i know pretty high, no other cooling in the PC but it runs on silent and has been operational many months without any issues)
RAM is sitting below 7GB so actully even 12 GB is an overkill for me :)
GFX card is the biggest shit, but it handless 5 with modified d3prefs. It was only like 40 EUR.
Why only 80 GB. Its enough for W7 and D3 where i use YAR relogger and APOC starter so i can launch multiples D3 from same folder.
No DVD waste of money rather buy more fans. You can install W7 from USB pen.

Getting 600+ GPH and 500+ IPH in A3 :) 0 to few deaths over night :)

That's fine but the opinions given may be abit abrupt but in honesty saving you money in some sense,

Biggest issue I find with botting is the ram usage;

I'm on i7 920 first gen never gets passed 20% usuage but wow rapes my ram at about 600mb a session and hb another 100mb prob

IDIOT.
The cells inside a SSD slowly but surely die. If at the moment you buy a SSD and put all your stuff on it, the constant movement of data will vastly accelerate the destruction of these cells, just run a few games and your operating systems of a SSD until they improve the technology.
Otherwise in a very short while you are going to be sitting with a very expensive lump of shit.
 
Dont buy OCZ. But with crucial and intel, and a few samsung, u will be allways fine for a few years.
