ok, ive been looking for private buyers for a while and today it struck me that i need to lose money to make money.

I sold 24k to a certain site and got $35 for it... not much (thats what i mean by lose money)
but when I met the person buying, I asked how much he payed for that 24k... he said around $100!!!

so i kept talking to him and we have reached an agreement that I contact him whenever I have more than 50k in stock and we meet in the middle, so I would get around $70 for the sale i just made instead of $35 and he would save $30... its a win win situation, cut out the middleman!

Which site did you sell to? do they let you meet the buyer? :O i thought they took the money first and then traded the buyer..

Ahhh I would like to find one that isn't a scammer :(!!!! Still grats on your story :)

70 dollars for 50k is a complete COMPLETE rip off. You are selling a service to your customers that is FAR better than buying from a website. Your service should be more expensive than the website. So the website you sold to is buying gold for .685 per 1k. THATS horrible. You should be selling to private buyers for at least $3 per k

GG on being included with all the new kids on the block botters that are ruining things for everyone else.

GG

edit* and actually PM what server you are on, I would gladly be the middle man and buy your 50k for 70, and sell it for 150 and keep the change for doing nothing.

if you read my post right, you will find that i am offering 24k for $70... i see where you got confused though but i dont appreciate being talked to like an idiot, please be respectful to others on the forum or just dont post at all, theres no need.

I traded to (im not sure if im allowed to post this, but most people know this, if im not allowed to post the site, would a mod please remove it) link removed

they dont have accounts, they let all the sellers and buyers do the work, i traded face to face with a real person.

alot of trading sites don't have accounts in WoW to take your gold. that's an extra cost to them .
I do sell to companies all the time and make face to face trades with buyers, but i already know how much they paid for the gold. they have buyer and seller prices on their website

lol! Bots make $3.00 an hour (more or less). Some people dont even make that much money for actual physical labor!
'Crazy'

Where in the name of god do you live?

Min wage here is 10 dollars take home is about 8.50. Despite the cost of living and everything what i think this guy is trying to say is that unlike a job which is 48-52 hours a week you can bot 24/7 or 168 hours a week. This adds up to a considerable higher profit than min wage. 52x8.50 = $442/week OR 168x3 = $504 PER account. Who says he doesn't bot with 10 accounts on 10 servers? Or you can bot 10 accounts on 10 servers and work for min wage and make a shitload.

And you make $150,000 a year from gold farming, right? But you'll only tell us your tricks if we buy your guide. lul

What about expenses? first off you buy an account, okay thats a one time expense, but who pays the electricity bill if you don't turn off your pc? it has to come from the cashcow right? which in this case should be your bots. I'm sure this lowers your profit. plus lets be realistic, hardly anyone bots 24/7 no matter if they claim they do, its virtually impossible to do so.

it isn't impossible at all. and note I said "besides the cost of living" I'm not saying hes making a shitload, I was just explaining his logic, which is that hes making more than minimum wage. Sure, there's 80-100k+/year jobs but they also require college educations which are expensive and usually require 10-20 years experiance first. Most college graduates here make between $30-40k/yr gross. Accounts cost money yes but they pay for themselves over time really.

Gamecards = $25-30
Keys = $60-70 for set up to wotlk or you were smart like me and bought 10 sets for $20 each (yay blizz)
Time = 3-4 days with raf a week with no raf.

gb/hb lifetime : $112 usd for 3 sessions.

Total investment: $212 per account with a gb/hb lifetime. And a week max of your time.

Or you can buy accounts with fresh 80's for $40-50 ish on mmobay/sythe/mc. They pay for themselves quite quickly.

Its good to see someone else supporting the idea of making good money off botting. I posted something very similar in a different thread a few days ago. A few points of improvement in the model listed just above though :) Below is my listings on a PER ACCOUNT basis:

$70 for set of wow keys now currently(not using any promotion prices here)
1-2 weeks max to hit 80 and start farming
Start with a Trial account and upgrade from there(40 free days of WOW instead of 30)
$37.33 for an gb/hb lifetime session(112 divided by 3)

Total: $107.33 investment per account and 26 days left over of free farming before you even have to worry about buying a gametime card. So by the time you even have to invest anything further your account has more than paid for itself and paid for a gametime card easily and then some.

Lastly Having my pc on 24/7 doesn't affect my power bill much at all. People are arguing this to death. A/C and some heaters(mine runs on gas), and tons of lights left on for extensive periods of time is what jacks my power bill up.

I think a number of people think it costs a huge amount of money to power a PC 24/7. I am fortunate, I get free electricity, so all I need to do is start selling gold to cover the other costs, and I can begin slowly building a botting empire, Mwahaha.

Need to get this new job to cover the cost of a new account to bot with, not terribly comfortable with botting/selling gold off the two accounts I personally play. lol

It costs a little but not really a huge significant difference. on topic though. Gratz on finding a buyer.

Ive been selling gold at no less than $2/k. I will even pay you $71 for 50k.
