First Patch with honorbuddy, quick noobish question.

Sorry if this has been asked, i had a quick search and couldn't find anything.

This is my first patch using honorbuddy, and noticed, that its mentioned not to use it after the patch because of:

A: Blizz go all out to get botters banned in the first couple weeks.
B: the bot simply just needs an update.

I AM PATIENT AND I CAN WAIT.
I am just wondering, how are we told from the HB devs its safe to use again? is there a sticky or thread? an email? or a certain thread i just need to keep looking at that will be edited saying "WORKS WITH 5.3!"

Trust your gut feeling. I always bot the moment patch goes live and HB beta is ready. No instabans resulting from that so far. I haven't gotten a ban for quite a long time now. Bot safe. Bot smart.

I bot dungeons at a 24/7 rate. Multi-instance with profile swap, scheduler and timer.

I think you are asking when a new release will be after the patch? If so, it normally takes a couple of days or so for devs to release a stable version.

If you are asking strictly if you SHOULD use HB after the patch, like neo has said above, first and foremost, trust your gut feeling. Secondly, all rules that apply to botting come into play: don't do it 24/7, don't AFK especially after a new release, use chat plugins for grinding, etc. In essence, be smart about botting all the time.

if we do a build for 5.3 we will make sure that it is safe, we will NEVER just release something that has not been thoroughly checked and just updated and thrown out. We also check it every single day even on non patch days. But its all up to you and how safe you feel using it after a patch. I know people that bot the exact moment the bot is up and ones that wait a full 2 weeks. Both are totally fine and up to the individual person, because if you are stressing that you are going to get banned you will probably cause yourself to get banned from all the stress of trying to avoid it.
