First gold sale, small, yet successful.

So, this is not a "OMFGWTFBBQ 300k gold sold" or something amazing like 9-10 lvl 80 bots.
It's just a small success after gaining money through HB (vendor trash = goldz) and some AH gambling.

My friend asked me if I knew of any good goldselling sites, which I do, so I dropped the name of the big company who most people tend to buy from.
But I also said, but if you want I can sell it you, I have some spare, but I can't cheap as cheap as them. But atleast it's safer for you, no chinese IP etc.

He wanted 6k and I said that he could get it for 18 bucks, he transferred 20 bucks to my bank account. He put some items on AH, which I bought and I did actually later on F2F trade the AH fee. Guildvault would have been safer, but I haven't been arsed to get one

Nevertheless, 20 bucks is not alot, but it's something. Atleast considering the gold prices nowadays

Although on the moral of selling to friends, selling it at equal or cheaper price is perhaps a more kind thing to do?
Since 6k farming for you shouldnt be much time spent botting.

I'll probably do more sales later when I upgrade to Lifetime and get some more accs running. I'll be able to sell gold on other realms friends and classmates play on once I do that

Well, selling it at the prices we now have would be like 1.3 USD/1k, a bit to cheap. Yes it would be a kind gesture to sell that cheap, but I'm keeping the mind on business. However, he has a job and gets 4-8 times more money than I do per month as I student. He was happy to buy it and never protested, he didn't even want it go cheaper as he payed me 2 extra bucks.

if you plan on setting up more accounts and bot more realms make sure to buy the keys now since they are super cheat atm
and most ppl are stockpiling gold so the price will only rise for a day or two at most and then fall down again xD

Yeah, only problem is that only have like 49 bucks on my bank account.. Being a student sux
I do get 144 bucks, but I don't know if it's on friday or tuesday. And I'll still have to buy Cata on my main acc, save money for a new computer et cetera.

well take it one step at a time and make sure to keep money stashed away for a bad day in case you get some bans...

i took things one step at a time, and now i have 7 accounts, bought computer parts to assemble a new pc, and have around 100$ stashed away in case some accounts get banned ^^

On further notice, have around 60 bucks on my bank account and when I come to think of it, I think the grants will come tomorrow. Too bad nicotine costs me 20-30$/month, fucking habit -__-
But yeah, I should be able to buy atleast one, maybe three accounts before the sale is over

The only downside is that I'll have to continue saving, and buy Cata + Gametime on my main acc/bottin acc (I don't give a shit about my main acc, don't have any rare mounts or imba items, just a mediocre 80 DK). And later on Cata for the new accs, sigh :c

You're lucky you can even sell, on EU some realm's you can buy for $0.9/k on gameusd, I've never seen it so piss poor.

Well, my sale was to a friend and that's pretty much what I think will be the foundation if I start selling wider. Friends, classmates, classmates friends, classmates guildies, friends friends, friends guildies and so on. Otherwise there's also forum for trading accs, selling gold, buying gold and so on. MMOwned for example.
