First attempt at gold farming, 1 week 250k. So far so good.

I live in australia. i buy the keys accounts either through 75% off link or gift keys when battlechests comes on sale. i honorbuddy keys are the biggest initial costs but after that i was looking at around $25AUD for a 5 man team per month. i ren this team for almost 3 weeks before i got the ban, but unfortunately didn't sell the ogld i was stockpiling and my 6th account who was guild master got banned too :(. so this time around i didnt' even break even. 400k down the drain
 
Any problem with "mixed mode (partybot + dungeonbuddy) on followers since last release?
 
Its safe to bot if you use your brain. No human can do 10h a day doing dungeons. It becomes extremely boring. I run my 5 team 5 hours a day and doing other stuff after i have completed the dungeons. Mine are just lvl 87 tho.

Brainless = ban. Its up to you what you want to risk ofc, but its reckless.
 
What are you thinking you will do about your gold next time, put a lvl 1 from ur main in the guild?
 
Also if you offset your team, meaning in 3 weeks make a new 5 man team just in case the other gets banned? If u get battle chest for 5 bucks 25 every 3 weeks, then throw away the accounts, or sell them on player auction or something.

In my experience (which is alot) the optimal combos are:

The GPH difference isnt really that great depending on what you roll. But these have the Highestdps (total dps from skada from like 100s of hours):

Ret Paladin
Hunter (all specs are fine)
Feral
Warrior (arms of fury)

This is with singular.

For tanking:
Dsnt really matter, they're all fine.

For healing:
Dsnt really matter that much tbh, disc priest have movement speed buff and Resto druid have combat ress...your pick.
 
How do you manage depositing gold to your gbank if you are running dungeonbuddy with your toons? Is there a plugin for that?
 
Setting up another team now. wish me luck friends :). Any more experience gold farmers feel free to give me more tips :D. the plan is to not bot 24/7 again no matter how greedy i get and don't let all my gold stockpile into m ygbank before everything including the gold holder gets banned :P
 
What is your plan for laundering the gold? I've been thinking of doing this myself, but cannot think of a safe / efficient way to launder it without too much collateral damage. Any advice on this from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

That's what i'm trying to work out.

If you've read throug the whole thread you'd realise all farming accounts were banned over patch weekend but the thing that i wasn't expecting was my 6th account. the guild master for the gold bank was banned and i lost all 450k which i farmed.

from what i've been able to get from more experience farmers is sell as you go. but also wonder if there's a better system as i asume consistant gold selling would increase the ban chance of the farmers.
 
Just think out of the box, Bobo!

If your intentions are to simply launder the gold, then transfer it via non-related, "so called" mule account, to your non-botting ones. You can do it by tons of ways, either with goldtrading, or with item trading.

For example - recently I wanted to get rid of 900k, spread around several servers and bought a bunch of TCG mounts and pets from the chinese resellers, which actually collected the gold from a single spectral tiger from 5 guilds on 3 servers spread.

Nice dude good tips. Yeah you're right, i'm just new and figuring stuff out :). i had a seperate toon compeltely not related to my bots (so i thought) that made a 2x lvl 90's and just made a guild b acnk which the 5 bots deposited into which got the hammer. i realised after i was logging in and out of that toon on the same wow install but alot of people have said to me that blizz simply followed the money from the 5 botted acconts on ban and got the gbank too.
 
Thank you, imtakinusrs, that's more of what I was hoping someone would say. I've been thinking of a way to launder it myself, but your methodology there makes more sense in the long run. Any advice at all, Bobo, about how to start my own 5 man team and be efficient right out the gate like you seem to be now? I've read multiple threads and think I have a firm grasp on what I need, but any small tip is nice :).

WEll i'm doing my second run right now. the tips i've picked up along the way is. use seperate bnets when startings accounts, take your time when raffing to make sure all char's are raf'd before dungeoning.
use the wod trial once your 90 and quests on kicks profile for a few years to get over 500 ilvl gear.

As far as team composition goes i'm still unsure and need to experience myself. i've heard people swear by 1 tank 1 heal switched in to dps inside instance and 3x hunters. but some others swear by different team comp. i'm personally trying 1 pally 1 priest 1 druid 1 mage 1 hunter this run.

Create a lvl1 suicide account and "sell" the gold to your main account.

do you mean to the suicide account? i totes don't want anything going to my main account after my guild master got banned last run.

gold buyers are getting banned too, thats what most goldbuyers fear...;)
