Blizzard can only sue so far before it becomes frivolous. And I say before the courts make a decision there should be a contingency plan in place to avoid losing ALL rights of the code of HB2/GB2, GB... Something should be released before the decisions are made by the courts to give the code over to a trusted source... And just restart it in another manner. Blizzard owns the game NOT HB. HB is a external source/company.
It's like making a part on a car... I can sell it in any manner that I wish... I CREATED IT. Even if it has the same philosophy of a already made part but with my modifications... And they can't come and say it's BMW's because BMW created the part/car first... It doesn't entitle them to SHIT!!! If that was the case, I guess we owe the caveman and his family for making the wheel.Think about it.
It's a software component that only interfaces with the main game. It is not modifying anything. That's how they can win. Blizzard HAS to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt... I don't give a shit what anyone says is AMERICAN law... it has to apply in GERMANY... And as far as I know (Working for Daimler myself) Germans don't fuck around. This will be a quick/solid decision. I think that they should simply up and move countries and let Blizzard chase em... Then wtf is Blizz gonna do? Store the software/source where copyright laws DON'T apply. Simple as can be.
you fail, do not pass go , do not collect $200
This made me lol, its like alot of 13 year old kids are posting in here. HB infringes on blizzards ToS. It is not legal, the only thing it has going for it is where the case will be tried and the law surrounding it. Do not think for a moment blizzard losing this case means they pack up and say oh well guys we tried... Blizzard cares alot about negatiting botting they will continue to persue it... at all costs... just will cost them more and they will come down harder on everyone.

HB/Bossland and the Bot'Community loses anyway because if Blizzard wins HB is gone, if Bossland wins Blizzard will put so much effort in detecting bots and programmes like that. botting wont be the same after 28th of february. Hope you can archieve the Success or atleast to stave of the verdict Im quite new to the bot and havent archieved my goals yet.

Don't you think if blizzard could do that, they would be already? Instead of trying to sue/c&d 500(Exaggeration) companies across the world?

Dont you think its much easier to just kill the developers tools instead of let a team of worker exploring to detect bots or find hints to detect them to stop every bot which all may have different coding etc? Because to put them down they have always the same shit for the lawyer's no matter how they are written , they just say against our terms.
No, if honorbuddy is "Killed" somebody else will pop up to fill the void.
Did killing Glider stop botting? Nope, hello honorbuddy.
Thats not what i saidBecause there will always be a Bot with different Scripting or whatever you can call that, that Blizz wont ever be able to detect them all. They just sue every Bot because its much easier they just have to write: they use programmes against our terms. Thats why working on detection is less effective than just sue everyone.
