Fire Monk Help

Hello everyone. I have been botting a WD/DH @ T5 fairly effectively for the past few weeks. I wanted to branch out and start gearing my monk up. Problem is I have never played a monk and have no clue what I am doing. I have basically pulled all the fire gear from my DH and put it on my Monk for the time being. Can anyone recommend a good fire build for me to use to bot T2/3 until I can get better gear/sets?

Here is a short break down of my character
400+ paragon
Magefist/Cinder/Fire Ammy/Augh Shoulder-Bracers-Helm/Cains Pants-Boots/Devistator OH/Hallowed Hold MH/Unity/Fire SOJ/String of Ears
51% CC/550 CHD/104 Fire Dmg/58 Bonus Dmg Elites/800ish AR w/ One With Everything
1.1 M DPS - 11M Tough

Any inputs to help a Monk noob is appreciated!

Hi friend, i think i know you. :)

Fire Monk is only survive in T6 with very decent gear, obviously you're not having the good resist atm, but since the last patch, dex became armor, monk better tougher.
Your case i will not use 3piece aughild. It doesn't worth it. Get andriel/Gyana Na Kashu for better DPS, the gearing direction will be all gear to provide DPS, use skill with CDR to survive.
Captain is a good choices, Black-throne also. Pick 1. If you know me you can check back my profile. :) But never reveal me, thanks.

With this build you wont be able to go to T6 but T5 is within reach, given you replace your cains boots+legs for cpt crimson, and get a gyana na kashu for your helm slot :) other than that, your gear is the one i'm running with!

I think you may have me confused with another person :D. My SC account only has 2 friends and neither play monk :(

I'll definitely look into the gyana na kashu, seems like BIS over Andys. Would love more ffedback from you. I'm currently struggling with the gear I posted in T3 and it feels like I should be able to handle more with this gear.

Okay so I took the advise above and retooled some things

- First I re-crafted gear (Capt Crimsons w/ single resist and rerolled my Aug for the same resist) With One with Everything I am now at 1100 AR. Still low but a lot better than 800.
- Next I focused on CDR - rerolled a few things and swapped out some gear.
- Finally I got the Gyana Na Kash. Equipping it hurt my sheet dps/toughness ALOT but I can see a major difference in clear times. It's an awesome helmet.

I lost a lot of HP after my changes but it hasn't seemed to affect me too much in T4. My CDR is now 58% so that has helped a ton with staying alive. The helm proc is a great boost to otherwise slow clear times.
So I am now at a crossroads. Are there any other specific items I should be targeting to hit T5? I am doing T4 atm, a bit slow but very few deaths. What is left out there for me to go after? Ideally I want to set up a ZDPS monk for manual play, but for botting what should I be after? Is lightning any good?
