Finding a free working proxy adress = mission impossible?

Hey there!
is there any advice for finding good proxy adresses?
couldnt find a single adress that works for the pokefarmer.... is it useless to try this with free adresses?

Free ones are hard to find and NOT secure most of the time. Just buy a VPN..
