FFXIV All in One Combat Routines

Hey what do you have going on with ninja, i saw that you updated some ninja files in the svn. I tried to get it working but the settings won't save, and the routine wont attack anything. Is there something I can help you with?

First I just wanna say that I appreciate your work in reviving some of the MAGITEK routines. I've been using the Astrologian routine that you've made, and it works great. There are a couple of issues though that I'm not sure you're aware of:

- Since a couple of updates ago, I'm having some weird issue with Shuffle - I'm shuffling most of the cards, even though the only option that I have selected in the routine is "Draw". This is kind of annoying when I pull a Balance card, then the routine just Shuffles right past it.

- If I cast Collective Unconscious, the routine doesn't realise that it's active and will continue to use other heals and interrupt the channeling of CU.

- I haven't been able to get Swiftcast-Res to work on Astrologian. It works fine on the Scholar routine (which I'm assuming is purely MAGITEK since you haven't really touched Scholar yet), and I've tried to mimic the code from that, but I can't seem to get it to work at all. Even with the latest GUI and Swiftcast Timer update, I can't seem to get it to work. Clicking my own macro is fine in the meantime, but sometimes the routine will cast Aspected Benefic right after I've manually cast Swiftcast, so if we can get the routine to cast the Swiftcast-Res, it'll definitely be more beneficial.

- It seems like there's some weird link between altering the numbers for Diurnal Sect in the GUI. If I try to change the HP for Aspected Benefic to be cast, the number won't save. If I change Aspected Helios, however, both Aspected Benefic AND Aspected Helios will change to whatever number Aspected Helios has in the box, if that makes any sense. The same thing is there for Helios and Helios No. of Targets. I think that one is just a visual error though.

Regardless of these bugs, I'm still going to continue using this routine, simply because it's pretty damn great. If I come across any other bugs, I'll be sure to let you know.

Keep up the great work.

EDIT: I removed the // in front of what appeared to be the WHM Swiftcast-Res line that was inside the AST routine (probably as a reference point for you), and used Raise as a cross-class skill. This method is working for me as a temporary fix.

hey mate this is great ill look into these

i Think i may have fixed these issues will need testing tho updated SVN

I'd appreciate it if there was an option to not default to FFXIV All in one for Combat routines, not sure why, but I get to pick for WHM, but not for NIN, kinda screws me over, have to restart RB when switching between the two

This is built into RebornBuddy itself. If the routine that you are using supports the job that you are changing to, it will keep the same routine. Try using Mud Assist Botbase - that has an option of changing the routine with your job.

Thanks for checking this stuff out. Sorry, but I haven't been able to test out AST stuff yet. I was using the routine for leveling, and I've finally hit 60 so I've stopped playing AST for a while. I've moved on to using your BLM routine.

So far I'm only level 34 in BLM, but from what I've seen the past 4 levels, the routine works decently enough for an early version.
These things don't need fixing immediately, but it's just a couple of things that I've noticed so far and might not be an issue at later levels:

- I don't know why it does this, but for some reason (rather frequently) it casts Fire III, then alternates between Blizzard and Fire until a new target is selected or I move and interrupt the casting. It might be something to do with how it's reading my mana? I have no idea. This usually occurs at about 75% mana.

- Before we get access to Fire IV, it'd be nice to have the routine Swiftcast Fire III. I'm not sure if there are any other spells that should take priority for Swiftcast at earlier levels. Maybe Sleep? Obviously I'm not able to test the Swiftcast Flare at the moment though. If you did add a Swiftcast option for Fire III, there'd also need to be a check that the Firestarter buff isn't up. In the meantime, it seems to be Swiftcasting Blizzard if I have Swiftcast Skills enabled.

- Whenever I press the Shift key, the next spell I cast is Sleep. This happens even without the checkbox checked, and also happens if I press it a little before combat even starts. This makes it difficult to type in chat during the rotation.

- I'm not sure if this is better or not, as I don't really know the numbers at higher levels, but would it be beneficial to have the Thunder HP cast requirement as a percentage? While I'm leveling, it's hard to even know what HP the enemies have, but a percentage would at least give a better idea.

- If the Blizzard II box is checked, it will spam Blizzard II when the mobs are in melee range, without swapping to Fire II when mana is full.

-The AoE Targets textbox is incorrect - it will AoE the number entered +1.

So far so good. I'm probably going to ride BLM to 50 for the meantime, so I'll let you know if there are any other abnormalities that come up. If I could help with the coding, I would, but I don't know anything about it, so I figure the best way I can help is to just test these out and leave feedback.

Attempting to select FFXIV All in one with mud crashes it, and UltimaCR has an option to be default or not default CR, and then get the popup for selecting CR every time you switch class if you don't select it as the default CR.

sweet ill look into these

After hitting 38, the problem with Blizzard casting out of place has gotten worse. It seems like the routine is trying to spam Blizzard III, and this makes the routine pretty-much unusable. Not only is it a significant DPS loss, but it's also incredibly obvious to everyone else, since Blizzard III's visual is pretty hard to miss :P.

The AoE rotation works fine with Blizzard, but the single-target doesn't wanna work properly.

yeah i think the problem was when i looked at this class i was max lvl so i was making it work for that looking into it now tho

I am ok with doing the buffs on my own for WAR but would it be possible to have the bot switch rotations depending on which stance you're in? Path is so situational I'd prefer not to even have it in the routine and simply use it myself when the bot is at the maim point. Is there an easy way to remove it from the CR so I don't break the whole thing so it just rotates between HS>MAIM>SE -> HS>SS>BB and leaves the SP out?

Ideally it would be nice to have it do the FC stuff on it's own, but I was wondering if we could just get the bot to do at least what I wrote above which would really be good in situations where I can choose when to mitigate and the optional rotational stuff like putting up path.

So i think these issues work ok now as for the swiftcast fireIII i can add it for u what sort of conditions do u want on swiftcast and fireIII

Thanks for the work devildevildevil, the AST routine is really good!
Question for you level 60 astros, are you using default healing % for your spells? if not, what % are you using?
