So I'm seeing a lot of people going boomy this season.. Is there a reason why? Should I be gearing up for boomkin???
Any input?

My guess for the most part is that alot of groups are using alot more ranged dps. Or it could just be a matter of preference of what dps they want to play
 
Well even Handavi is going boomy from what I can tell (creator of superbad druid cc).
Seems like everyone is going, maybe they're more op in arenas now due to ferals no longer having instant cyclone :/
 
reason everyone is going boomy is because of the damage output the cc and the off heals

Im not much of a pvper. I only do pve raids ect ect. And I do see alot more boomies then ferals in raids as of late. So maybe for the pvp aspect, you may be right in that boomies might now be more menacing then ferals now. But who is to say. lol
 
Hmm.. I guess I'll just have to regear my druid now.. Time to farm *cough* bot *cough* more honor!

Exactly. But it'll be awhile. First have to gear feral! And I'm to lazy to do it myself, so it'll be awhile until bot gets up ;)

ya i hear that. I'm gearing up 4 lv 90s at the same time. not very easy even with botting.
 
Haha, before my account got banned, I had all classes up to 90 besides monk and rogue. All were pvp geared (or at least pve). I miss them all. Mostly my feral. But, alas, all good things must come to an end, right?
 
Good things should never come to an end. I bot constantly, but it is always under supervision (mostly just raiding or farming ore). And I know I have a risk of being banned, but what I do is I play all my toons everyday to throw off suspicion. No full botter bots 4 toons, most of them bot 1 all day long. Just have to be a little smarter about botting so you dont lose your account.

Eh, I was stupid when it came to botting, which is why I'm not raging. I was quite irresponsible with it. Haha

Oh, well in that case, I believe I will definitely stay feral! Didn't want to be a spec that no one was going to support ^_^
 
I have a Feral combat routine that could do with some testing if you're interested.
 
The thing I don't get since I am not really an alto-holic I just really stick to one character, play it well, enjoy it and get all my achievements on it. I really enjoy druid as a class as you can offer a lot to the raid and a lot of spells / forms. You can easily go about re-rolling to tank, healer, DPS or ranged DPS. However I will always stay feral I do the best in it and always top the meters in the raid. Just because boomy can suddenly do 10k more DPS I wouldn't re-roll it, you have all the gearing time and learning the rotation to being the best you can be.

Just annoys me when you see people saying "Mages are so nerfed this patch". Really? Your going to re-roll a class cause of a bit of DPS, trade it off for spec or class you don't know.

Just my theory when I see so many mages and warlocks that end up doing half the DPS they should be in a raid because people are playing them with the ideal they will be the best in the meters right away.

^ Most of what I said is pretty generic and not aimed at anyone here, but just the principle of why I stick to feral. However since I am only druid in my raid now, I will be giving balance a go!

I completely agree with you. I'm always seeing people complain about their class, or another class. The class doesn't suck, YOU do. In all honesty, I believe all the classes are actually balanced. Over the years of playing WoW, I have leveled at least every class up to max level (or at least to 85), and geared them. All the classes are just as good as the others. There's just a better advantage then some others (like mages have outstanding damage but take a lot of damage). If you know how to play your class, then you're set. Otherwise, quit complaining that your class got nerfed if you never even knew how to play them in the first place.
I'm not even sure if any of that made sense, just kind of wrote something. x)
