Im talking about lvl 85, would a moonkin or a feral druid do better with gatherbuddy?

with decent gear both will be the same, they will done the job :)

on Gb is all about macros,if you have setup nice macros every class is good

why can't you get some nice and nifty CC like HB? That would be just awesome !

@easycheesy: I tried GB as both specs and it simply is obvious: feral>balance. The macro rotation is simple enough whereas in balance because of the shifts and all your dps is ridiculous. This + autoheal when critical strike makes feral the best specs IMO :)

thanks iesux!

@Tony: i wanted to know about 2 aspects:
1. which one is gatherbuddy more comfortable with? for example would a caster do better than melee, because it wont get stuck on the way to the mob. currently im having that facing the mob problem, would that occure with a feral too?
2. which spec has better survivability, can kill mobs faster, less downtime, and so on?

1. I Would say caster according to the chanse of getting stuck that you mentioned. And yes. Facing mob will occure to any class since this is a GB problem (not a CC one) if that problem exists (I havn't experienced it.
2. Guess you have to figure out that. Depends on your gear ofc but I don't think the differance is that big between feral and balance but I whould stick with balance due to the range problem explained earyer.

I was seeing issues with feral basically chasing after mobs all day. At least with balance it would "usually" shoot them down if they were runners.

However I've also seen a few issues arise lately that I believe is related to how GB handles combat and thats the fact that your toon will move foward to close distance on a mob only to overshoot him. I am rechecking my settings to make sure that if thats the case there is nothing I can do about it except bug report.

I use Feral on my druid when using GB and I rarely ever die. Very, very, very rarely.
