FearPlex's Brief Gold Guide / Journey.

This is turning out to be a more debate about man bodies - anyone here into girls ?

Spent the next 2 days running more instances together to get 'em geared up. Bought all the possible JP gear, followed by HP gear and then a 85 MoP Blue / Epic BoE weapon for each toon.

Just a little hint : you can test MOP for 10 days for free after you hit level 85, i guess you even can do that earlier, and then get your gear from this guy
To the rest of you guys - you clicked here because you wanted a guide and then you complain about something totally unimportant, its not against the rules so be quiet or gtfo ...

Would you mind having a chat with me on skype? This is a great guide and I´d like to discuss some ideas with you.

Didn't you know?
abs on a skinny guy is the same as boobs on a fat chick, it doesn't count :p

anyways, a good guide for people who don't know how to make gold.. (i wonder how.. but aight)

Considering you will only see abs when you are under 8-15% bodyfat I don't this applies.

Seriously thanks for this information I really look forward to botting there :p

Sorry for not updating it yet. I do plan to, today / tonight, after uni and work.

I'll be going into greater detail once I have the time.

After quickly reading comments, I see someone suggested the 10-day MOP trial to get a quick green set with a decent iLevel - I've known about this for awhile, however decided to flag it. To me, seems hella dodgy having a fresh 85 in MOP greens botting. Much rather go with the method I am, and atleast on sight, look like I actually semi-care for the toon. Remember reading somewhere ages ago that it was a better idea to have a mix of epics and blues rather than greens. Who knows? Guess I just stuck with it aha.

Not bad - my raf groups usually take about 22 hours to get lvl 85, then again - I don't use hunters =)

i did 1-85 in 14 hours, pm me your skype if you want to exchange tips, since i see that we doing the same business :D

Solid guide, thank you :). I would like to ask a few questions:

1. Do you use any ***'s with your WoW accounts? It seems there's some debates about this. Some people say they run the bot 24/7 by swapping the accounts every 8 hours or so and they're still fine. I understand that Blizzard should be able to see that even though each account has only 8 hours of playtime per day, but they could also see that in sum, this IP was logged in for whole 24 hours per day. It makes sense to say, that people might have a few accounts in the same household, one pc, and just keep swapping throughout the day, but still, doesn't that cause suspision, could you comment on that? I'm just not sure about the whole *** thing, if it's worth buying private IP's or can you do all the botting on one IP, just by not keeping one of your accounts logged on longer that 6-10 hours or so.

2. Is it okay to have those botting accounts under the same battle.net account? Would be nice to avoid a chain ban.

3. You said it cost you 5$ per account, does this include a free month? Since the battlechest on battle.net costs 10$ now. Or do you somehow use the RaF system to your benefit to receive that free month? Don't have too much knowledge on RaF.

4. Isn't it strange when lets say two accounts are playing at the same time on one IP?

As far as I know, no one here can give you clear answers on your 1,2, and 4.
For question 3, yes, $5 bc comes with 1 free month.

If you still have a promo code, you can get a Battlechest for $5 - includes xpacs up to and including Cata and 1 month.

I'm aware of that. That's why I mentioned "$5 bc"

And be careful when you use the elite troopers, I heard ban rate there is extremely high

2 weeks @ Troopers and going strong. Doubled up toons on each account, defo think it was worth the extra day /played. Will explain what I meant as soon as I get the chance. Just got home from work (2AM) - plan to sleep for a little and write up a little more when I wake.

Cheers for all the support, suggestions and feedback so far.

Depends on GM. Some GM will ban the reported account and look for the IP to see whether there are more bots running. And some GMs just dont give a fck it seems.

B-net = no one cares whether the accounts got the same Bnet or not.

Theorycrafting isn't providing a real answer? Time and time again, people have debated IF GM's actually have the power and authority to track and use IP. Nether side of the argument could provide solid proof..

I am probably the only one not theorycrafting in that whole forum..

Sorry, wasn't meaning to come across as having a go at you mayne. No, you definitely aren't the only one - I just feel that it's often better to have no info opposed to having factual info.

I told, that I am probably the only one who is NOT theorycrafting in that forum. I have datasheets about every fckn thing happened with my bots. I have datasheets about dungeons, about farming spots, about farming routes aswell as errors and even the percentages of errors I am getting.

What I wrote above is just the conclusion of all the datasheets. I mean, your little guide is really cute, but nothing special. Just a small way to make some gold. (Which is not even the most efficient way, btw). Nothing else.

This botting thing is (was) serious to me, until I realised that this is not the lifestyle I want to have. (= sitting in front of the computer and having daily problems with the software without me changing anything). So I make some money until august when I go into my next project. Probably sell every informations I have about botting to someone.

Considering I've actually been questioned by a gm in regards to my ip.. yeah they can track it easy. It's all in their logs. They just run a tool that scans through them. This dude went back in the logs for a month and easily knew how many accounts I was running, and wondering why some even logged in on other ip's at times.. I even had to explain an ip I only logged into once. Now if they can do crap about it - I have no idea. He sure didn't. He actually unbanned the one account that was banned when I admitted to botting and promised I wouldn't do it anymore.

As for your guide... isn't this the same stuff people have been doing for years? Or is there some new element I'm missing...
As for your pic... Nice job! Weird to use as an avatar here, but grats! Get a tan :p
