@Shyoden; What class/spec are you using it for which isn't seeing great results? Could just be the way you have it setup.

Hi Millz! Okay, so now I am on a mission! . I have tried and tried it with almost all of my toons and cannot get it to work the way people say it does. I'm taking it personally! (j/k).

I just now tried it on a Level 90 Lock who really, I have not been on in forever so she is basically like a 466 ilvl. I didn't expect much of course, but she did 4.8k. I then tried her with an FPSware cc meant for grinding and leveling, and she did 39k. After that I hopped on to my 492 Frost DK, and again, no luck.

I know it must be something I am doing, but can't figure out what.

IF you have the time would appreciate help figuring it out; if not, no biggie and thanks in any regard!

You might try Superbad for ferals.
My cat does ~118k on a dummy with ilvl 508. Selfbuffed, no flask, no bufffood, no potion. Your combat rogue most do more damage. Hunters are one of the worst classes in 5.3. dps wise.

Nice! Will it work though for non-Druids? I don't have one - but for those numbers may make one .

best clarify within what ilvl range, this must change a lot. Many o f the preconceived notions I had about what fell where dps wise was shot to hell. I'll tell you what suck dps-wise. Warriors. Hunters in lesser gear outdps me atleast @ 515ilvl'ish. Cant blame it on my play either if you get my drift =) Im usually in 8-12th in the guild w/ a 530wpn. mages, warlocks, hunters, rogues, deathknights usually above me. Fugging deathnights make me sick!

Hahah - I know what you mean. My friend is a Frost DK and he pulls 120-150k without even trying! It's sick! . Recently got a little bit better gear on my hunter and I'm using TuanHAHunter and she is doing a little bit better. I still want to figure out PureRotation2 though since almost everyone seems to agree that it is the go-to CC to use.

Can you post a log file from using PureRotation? I suspect there's some hidden errors in there that's preventing it working correctly.

Feral druids hands down SuperBad.
Disco Priest: KingHeal or KingWow (whichever it's called nowadays, haha).

I use Purerotation2 and pull top dps with 120k+ on my ilvl 524 SV Hunter, i have it set to Automatic & Frame Lock enabled on Tyrael.

Raiding only:
Feral Druid (or tank): Superbad - the best!
DPS War: Fury Unleashed - this rocks!
DK Frost: PR (now tasting DeathVader) - very good, few minor improvements needed
DK Blood: PR - exceptional survivability, I would like a bit more dps from it tho

some others I have tasted like a month ago:
Hunter: no routine worked properly. I have tried all and all specs.
Destro Lock: PR amazing
Frost Mage: PR amazing

Very nice. Thanks for the input. I enjoyed reading through what you wrote and will begin to try to take things in moderation (I need to pull away from the game some, and pick up things IRL again ). I think though, that the very fact, bot or not, that I'm not 'at the top' makes it to where I want to be, so it's a very vicious in-game cycle that I keep coming back to.

I can understand that being a vicious cycle. I was caught in that trap before MoP came out. In Wrath and Cataclysm I was doing my best to try and get better, and better items, just to keep up with the "hip" crowd of players. I burned myself out trying to keep up with the elite gamers. It was just too much for me to do. Playing the game started to feel more like a job that didn't pay out, and I just had to quit playing.

It also didn't help when Blizzard forced us to do dailies the way they did. The game was already getting repetitive, but then they threw in all those daily hubs and took away the ability to grind for VP and JP like we used to have the ability to do. The game's also just gotten silly with each expansion. The stats on gear are starting to reach levels that would be seen on private servers. Blizzard's also made the game, in my opinion, more child friendly and less player friendly. All in all, while I still have feelings for the game because I've spent almost 10 years playing it, I just find myself coming ever closer to closing my account and never returning to it.

But, I do hope you find what you're looking for, and I hope you start topping charts. I know it feels good to reach the goal you were looking forward to reaching. Hopefully that will happen for you with the community's assistance.
