BEST cc Routine for each class please?

Seriously, I have gone blue in the face Googling, searching the forums, and even trying a few different custom classes, but haven't found the ones I tried nearly as 'good' as people post they are.

Can you PLEASE post YOUR favorite (with the class you are using it for)?

Thanks!

You need to be a bit more specific as to what you want the routines for? PvP, gathering, questing, raiding... Just because a CC is good for raiding doesn't mean it's any good for BGBuddy.

Very true, and thanks :).

Raiding mostly, doing dailies with friends, and finally, questing.

Purerotation v2 and TuanHAs CRs vor Raiding
Have tried these. In fact, PureRotation2, just in the last couple of days since I heard good things about it while HB was down. The problem is that I don't know what I'm doing wrong, because I don't get nearly the output that I see other's posting about. I used PR2 with my Combat Rogue and my SV hunter and really was nowhere near the top (Rogue did maybe 40-50k and Hunter like 55-60k). Just now, I also used TuanHaHunter and she pulled (Hunter) like 70k on Dark Animus which brought her in at 11th on that fight.

I am talented according to talent calculators and gemmed, and reforged according to Mr. Robot. I'm pretty over 500 ilvl on a lot of my toons ... so I just don't get it :(.

Oh and just recently I began using Tyrael instead of LazyRaider but don't really see too much of a difference (number-wise) between them - i just see a little more lag, hahah.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You might try Superbad for ferals. :)
My cat does ~118k on a dummy with ilvl 508. Selfbuffed, no flask, no bufffood, no potion.

Your combat rogue most do more damage. Hunters are one of the worst classes in 5.3. dps wise.

I don't play much anymore, and that's only because WoW's become somewhat of a repetitive game. However, I've seen your threads asking for routines that will work wonders for you. I've been where you are, and I've wanted the same results that others post, but I've never come close to getting anything near what others have gotten. I've tried practically every routine listed on these forums.

Honestly, it comes down to gear, buffs, settings, hardware, and several other factors that weigh in on your total outcome. For me, I just don't have great hardware or gear (ilvl). My best geared toon is ilvl 479 (my Windwalker monk). I just quit playing because I was tired of doing the same thing each and every day. I burned out. All the dailies that needed to be done to gear up, the lack of loot being won in raids and heroics, and the bad luck I always had in finding things. I never found a routine that worked well enough to get me above 2nd or 3rd dps in heroics, and I rarely got above 8th place in raids in dps. For healing I always used TuanHA's paladin routine, which usually always got me around 3rd in healing.

I hope you can find a setup that suits your needs at some point, but it's going to be hard to do because there are so many factors that play in to the whole equation.

Sounds like you're running hotkey mode and not using the hotkeys (so CD's aren't being used, isn't doing AoE etc). Try Automatic mode if you don't like hotkeys.

Hi Zeldrak. Ty for your reply.

I know what you mean as I too sometimes get a little bored with the repetitiveness and know people that feel the same. I guess what keeps me coming back is that I have invested so much time, effort and even money into these little 'me' characters :) and hate to just lose that - which of course, is the vicious cycle that blizzard relies on with its subscribers. People that I play with also make the game a little more fun and without them, I'd quit in a heartbeat I think.

You make a good point too about the other factors that weigh in, such as connection speed, etc. I hadn't considered all that.

K, how do I enable Automatic? :) ty!

Open 'Class Config' and in the top left corner there's a drop down which by default says 'Hotkey' - change it to 'Automatic' and click save.

best clarify within what ilvl range, this must change a lot. Many o f the preconceived notions I had about what fell where dps wise was shot to hell. I'll tell you what suck dps-wise. Warriors. Hunters in lesser gear outdps me atleast @ 515ilvl'ish. Cant blame it on my play either if you get my drift =) Im usually in 8-12th in the guild w/ a 530wpn. mages, warlocks, hunters, rogues, deathknights usually above me. Fugging deathnights make me sick!

Yeay, Thanks again. Will try this.

I've been playing since 2006-2007, but I've only been using HB and this community since 2010. So, for three years I played by hand making DPS macros because I just couldn't play like the elite types. Rotation? Pft, macro that shit out and spam a single button to do it all. Granted, my DPS wasn't that great because of it, but back then I had friends that played, so it was more fun. Nowadays, I don't have that many friends that play, or the ones I do have I rarely see because of time differences, so I get bored running dailies and sitting in queue for hours on end for a dungeon or raid. But, like you said, I keep coming back as well, and it's all because of the time and money I've invested in my account. I've bought practically every mount that's been on the Blizzard store, I've even cheated my way into getting RAF mounts like the Obsidian Nightwing (Obsidian Nightwing - Spell - World of Warcraft) and Swift Zhevra (Swift Zhevra - Item - World of Warcraft) by going through sites that were listed in these forums. I've bought and sold gold and materials. I've made thousands on the AH, but all I have to show for it is roughly 35k gold, and that's spread across 11 level 90s.

It's been a good run, and as for now I've gone back on hiatus. I haven't logged in to play in over three weeks, and honestly, I don't miss it right now. I picked up Guild Wars 2 and played that for a little bit, but it's too similar to WoW. I get bored playing that as well. So, I've switched to doing some things in real life. I enjoy the sunshine, I go to the lake, I take walks outside, and I do other things like watch TV or movies, I try to hang out with RL friends when they're not working or are in town, and I cook for my siblings. But, I know I'll be back to play again because that's my modus operandi.

Anyway, I'm sorry I digressed. Yes, make sure you're using PR in Automatic mode, which I see you're doing now. Also, your gems, enchants, reforging, gear ilvl, weapon ilvl (some classes are extremely dependent on the weapon ilvl), etc make a huge difference with your DPS. Of all the "raid" type routines I've tried I've only found two that suited me, and those two were PureRotations and anything made by TuanHA. Though, since I've been reading the forums it seems that TuanHA is leaning more towards developing for PvP purposes now, so his creations may not be as PvE friendly as they used to be. The PR team is really helpful as long as you follow the criteria for getting help (i.e. posting a full, unedited log file, give lots of details as to what's going wrong and what you're trying to do, and be respectful), so they should get you up and running really well.

Purerotation v2 and TuanHAs are sweet. I only use them. All is shit for disc so I have to use PQR for that one.

Pure for raiding with my 5 DPS toons and PQR for my 2 healers.

Very nice. Thanks for the input. I enjoyed reading through what you wrote and will begin to try to take things in moderation (I need to pull away from the game some, and pick up things IRL again :)). I think though, that the very fact, bot or not, that I'm not 'at the top' makes it to where I want to be, so it's a very vicious in-game cycle that I keep coming back to.

PureRotation2? See, I see where MANY people laud it and post awesome results, but every time I have used it, results have been less than stellar.

As for PQR, I tried it while HB was down last time (someone from here was kind enough to help me set it up) and was impressed with the Holy Pally healing. To me though, it is confusing to use, or at least to find the right profiles for other classes. Any help with it would be appreciated, especially since HB is down again.

It's nice to see so many people using (and praising) PureRotation. It's posts like that which makes us want to keep updating it. Those following PureRotation will be aware that while healing works, it's not great, and is currently undergoing a full re-write from scratch. The new system has some seriously cool tricks in it (from a dev point of view anyway). I'll not give too much away yet, but I highly doubt anything will out-heal it once it's complete (the core is nearly finished - some specs have been partially written).

@Shyoden; What class/spec are you using it for which isn't seeing great results? Could just be the way you have it setup.
