Farming gold, worth it?

So since the RMAH is now online, will this destroy the gold auction house and the value of gold?

Will the prices of good items needed to progress in Inferno just skyrocket now, or will we still be able to bot away and use our gold to compete?

Thoughts?
 
Well its not like we have an other option except if you have a private profil perfectly setup for bossruns with sick gear in inferno.
Wether or not farming Gold is "worth" it.. well time will tell but we gotta keep farming for now the the only other option would be not farming and gold and that won't get you any farther will it?

Also EU AH delayed for 2more days. And givin the RMAH auctions I saw getting sold on livestreams, buying Gold will be like 600% cheaper then buying items in AH.
I don't think the Gold Ah will die out of thats one of your concern.

Price on gold went up slightly on the EU servers since last night. Yes it is still worth it.
 
I think its defo worth it now. Just get as much gold as you can before RMAH and then sell it all quickly before prices go down. Hard to tell how prices gonna look like and how fast they gonna drop. But imo prices should defo be pretty high in the start, or atleast higher than at 3rd party websites, because, thats simply how AH works... it starts highly overpriced and drops quickly.

Farming items is pointless atm, since you can get ilvl 63 items only in act 3-4, botting that would require really, really sick gear.

Getting gold on US as well, at one point gold/RMAH will balance out. Items started at 100$ are now 10-20$ and it still going down, people wont sell shit for 1-2$ when they are decent since blizz takes 1$ cut.
 
Yeah, gold will hopefully follow the same scenario - start on lets say 20$ per 1m and drops to like 5$ in matter of hours
 
not worth selling gold on RMAH as it takes 30% total with paypal fees
 
Still selling EU at 5e/mill.

If it stays at that range, I'm more than happy.
 
so maybe with sarkoth runs u make like 8 euros per night? bit rediculous really doesnt really seem worth it

and soon 3+ mill ppl will start selling so it will probably end up at 0.70 euro per million
 
I personally do ~350-400 GPH on Core runs. 3 accounts, so 1 mill per hour to sell, and a little extra to keep for personal use. At current rates that's 5e/hour. Very nice considering I bot ~12 hours a day.

Definitely helping my poor student lifestyle =p

a question here...above i assume u are using bow instead of xbow rite? i mean bow = 2h bow not 1h bow....so actually for farming core..which bow is actually recommended? for the atk speed = bow? or crit dmg = xbow + ss passive?
 
Could anyone tell whats the gold price on RMAH in US now ? Im based in EU and dying to know what impact will RMAH have on gold price.

I use a 1h xbow with 800 dps. Faster attack speed = better. You rape everything in 1-2 shots anyways.

Commodities are not available on RMAH, only items.
