Funny how you ask if people would donate and then say , im not asking people to donate.

This is merely an attempt to find out if, in the end, it would be worth all your time to make this.

I wish you luck on it, but no i wouldn't donate, simply because i cant.

@fpsware ! U do realize that posting Screenshots/videos from your accounts - blizzard (who is for sure scanning this forum) get's your full account info ? As in the videos/screens they can uncode your accounts info (like login) - so that account can get rlly easily banned, and they will have your new IP etc etc...

As far is know (was reading lots of info about it) the same goes to videos.

That applies to screenshots only, it does not apply to captured video.

its like this, if you put out a trial version (maybe like 2 days) and the product is good, the money will come, people on here are happy to pay for good work. just look at the great routine makers on here, tuanha and Millz for example, I dont know how much they make but they probably make decent coin, and the routines are worth it. A few things I think sets them apart from others, they put out trial versions(I know some routines are free) and another thing is I believe they go into each new project getting feedback on every little thing from the users and dont charge anything untill they know for a fact that the product is great. Another thing they do is update, update, update, and do it asap. I try out many of these products and I gotta tell you, I am pleased and its worth it (top heals and top dps).

As most of us, i even talked with FPS and told him i can give him 2 x 90lvl MOP accounts - he rejected as the beta is still closed - will donate heavily to only get that priceless tool working! ;*

Until Blizzard stop banning my accounts I don't want to borrow or use anyone's existing accounts.

I want to know this too, it will be amazing if yes, and I think all people interested on botting spend few dollars to support Fpsware if farmer joe has all in one, if I be honest, if Joe comes with only farm features the lites/personal botters will not interested on it, cause with the present method is enough, but if Joe comes will all proffs, all farm, with the quality of Fpsware jobs, like I say its a MUST buy for all botters I Think

In my personal opinion, Farmer joe, must be a BUY never supported by donations, because quality jobs like that needs obligatory to be supported for all their users , when I start on botting at 2011, my first 3? party stuff of HB was the Fpsware Rogue CC and was amazing, now I use Tuanha rogue special edition, and too is amazing, but Ill glad to use again fpsware stuff like that

There will not be Lite or Limited edition builds, what is released will be the fully featured product. Farmer Joe will be free and open source once its publicly release.

EDIT: When you say "all professions", what exactly do you expect it to train? As this is a gathering botbase it does not make sense to include unrelated professions. Currently it will train Mining, Herbalism and Skinning. I don''t have any plans to support additional professions (in the first version of Farmer Joe).

The name "Farmer Joe" suggests to me that it will support farming as in mining, herb-gathering etc including training of those professions. Hopefully it will do the non-gathering professions as well, but as I said, the name to me suggests not. Which in no way makes me less excited about this, I would really like to have that gathered into one neat package instead of having to huntdown special profiles for everything etc etc.

Farmer Joe is my alternative to GatherBuddy. Farmer Joe only supports herbalism, mining and skinning.

I would certainly donate, would prefer to try it out first though but knowing and using your old work i'm sure i won't be put off by it.
If you ever need a tester that throws you some log's i'd be happy to help as well, although i guess you get millions of those requests

Just an update for everyone not yet aware, I have had the recent misfortune of losing all of my accounts. Therefore, until such time I have characters of sufficient level I am unable to continue development on FarmerJoe.

For those who have already offered the use of loan accounts, thank you for you generous offer but until the dust has settled I am not willing to put any additional accounts at risk.

EDIT: I have also lost the newest accounts I have been leveling. This will set me back another couple of weeks.

Bump. Because this post was berried and people continue to ask for a release date and to be included in the beta testing.

Great video, really makes a strong case for the, uh, whichever it is, botbase, addon, plugin, whatever. If I used HB for gathering, I would snap donate for this. All the options, so many options!

Seems like the highest percent of HB bans are from gathering, and I wonder if a project like this would crush their efforts to contain gathering bots. FPS , are you close to a release? I didn't catch this thread in time to join your beta testers, however I used your CC's back when you used to work on those and absolutely loved every bit of it. I have an account I would not mind running it on (has not been subbed since MoP launch) , if you are still open to testers. If not I'll patiently wait till you do release(lies! can't be patient with work of art like FJ!) Anyways just wanted to add , videos look great, excited about it being profileless , thumbs up.
