Extract & Play DemonBuddy - v220 + DRelog & Giles Suite

@lama
using radsatom or profilemanager:
- All profiles go to C:\drelog\demonbuddybases\VERSIONUMBER\*putthemhere* (so c:\drelog\demonbuddybases\279\BigRed_START_HERE.xml, c:\drelog\demonbuddybases\279\BigRed_Rakki.xml, etc)
- Make sure START_HERE.xml file is ALSO in c:\drelog\profiles\
- make sure you edit each bot's settings by running drelog.exe as admin > double click bot profile there and edit starting profile and all relevant info

@warbux - edit GilesTrinity.cs in c:\drelog\plugins\GilesTrinity\GilesTrinity.cs
- all changes done to plugins he are are reciprocated through the other bot demonbuddies when drelog is run.

@placebro:

- I believe it is a DB issue if drelog is managing to start D3 fine. Go to C:\drelog\demonbuddys\BOTNAMEYOUARETRYINGTORUNHERE\logs\Gotolatestlogfilefordb.txt and paste what is in the log after running drelog and having it start the bot. (Log file should appear once u notice drelog saying "demonbuddy_startup".

@ppl wanting scheduler working: I believe Kane didn't finish the scheduler as the compilable source that is meant to be fine released by a forum member seems to have issues with the scheduler code. As of now thats way out of my league so I am not sure how to get that working for ya'll.

if I edit giles trinity this way then its impossible for me to have different settings for each bot. Is there anyway I could have each bot use unique profile settings?

With the way Drelog works - not any easy way.

Other way is make multiple copies of the same plugin folder in C:\drelog\plugins so like c:\drelog\plugins\GilesTrinityv1\, c:\drelog\plugins\GilesTrinityv2\, and then editing each bot profile to point to the giles trinity version you want. Only thing I can think of that might be an issue is Trinity might require the folder name to be "GilesTrinity" - havent checked.

It does... I have figured away around it. I will just run rend barbs on one comp and ww barbs on another.... Is there anyway for me to change monster power and have it saved?

Hmmm just checked, its saved in a place that is based upon your boit name upon creation which means any edition needs to be d one in C:\drelog\demonbuddys\botnamehere\settings\battletag#num\CharacterSettings.xml

only issue I can see is that the file might deleted/replaced each time Drelog runs it. If changing the value there doesn't keep it at the same monster level each run, I think we need DB devs to change the powerlvl to be in the globalsettings not charsettings but I dont know if they'll dothat.

Bazingaw, may be u know, i did all right what u write here:

And anyway demonbuddy_startup after open d3.
sorry for bad english -,-

Go to C:\drelog\demonbuddys\BOTNAMEYOUARETRYINGTORUNHERE \logs\Gotolatestlogfilefordb.txt and paste what is in the log file after running drelog

Also try this:

Go to C:\Drelog\ and delete Profiles.xml there and then run drelog.exe as admin and re-create your botprofile and see if it runs then.

I tried but no log file is being created, I believe since Drelog is not launching DB whatsoever. DB is located at C:\Drelog\DemonbuddyBases\279\Demonbuddy.exe and I'm specifying that folder when I create the profile in Drelog.

I cant see the Demobuddy log, hell i cant even maximize demonbuddy. Its on the taskbar but nothing happens when i click it. Is it supposed to behave that way ?

Seems like others are having the same problem as me. Would be great to fix it so we can start using this :\

I've had exactly the same issue,
I've been using this for over 1 month without any issue until recently (last two days).

I ran into the same issue with DB not even opening. I looked in the drelog logs and saw

[10/21/2012 10:53:38 PM]System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
at System.Net.WebClient.UploadDataInternal(Uri address, String method, Byte[] data, WebRequest& request)

the buddyauth site is down atm, probably has something to do with it.

Yep, similar issue and definitely due to buddyauth being down.

Encountered an annoying, random problem that keeps repeating itself:
1) DRelog either refuses to load Demonbuddy.exe (Stuck at either "Starting DemonBuddy" stage or "Diablo Login" stage)
2) DemonBuddy is loaded and then auto shut down

Both 1) and 2) happens because
either
- Relogger loads Diablo3.exe and then DBCore cannot detect Diablo3.exe
- Demonbuddy.exe refuses to compiler itself and plugins (compiler crash???)

The buddyauth servers threw some errors last night and drelog just couldnt do shit. Depending on another set of auth servers for no reason (not anymore at least) is not cool.

I switchted to DBRelogger, but its throwing errors too... The only thing still working is the batch file, which is awesome, but doesnt notice if the bot stops for no reason.

Had recently switched from Arelog and went back to Drelogger, thought the following issue wouldve been resolved..

Following this chart:
QWniw.jpg

Does your DB pull the profiles from C:\Drelog\Profiles or C:\Drelog\Demonbuddys\Botname folder ?

Mine evidentally pulls it from C:\Drelog\Demonbuddys\Botname .. I had to copy and paste all the profiles and place them inside the botname root folder without a seperate "\profiles" folder, which is wierd because the profiles gets jumbled in together with the DB stuff, i've tried manually setting the profiles to be extracted from C:\Drelog\Profiles when DB is on but it never seems to save and continually tries to load profiles from C:\Drelog\Demonbuddys\Botname .

same with me. I have all my profiles in every of the defined folders. "botname, Drelog and builds " but yet everytime I run Drelog, I get a message saying it can't find the profile or folder where its located. So I manually select it in the botname and it runs fine for about a hour then crash again...

I cant get this to work under a ***. I tried it on my home connection computer and it was able to verify my auth user / password. When I am under my *** it just crashes when I tell it to check it out.

Any solution to this problem? I could really use a dependable relogger.
