Extract >> Play: Drelog & Giles Trinity with ProfileManager

People have been having a tough time with DRelog, so I have setup DB so that it is more or less extract and play. I am not allowed to distribute this package with DB inside the Demonbuddybases folder due to not knowing who is from Germany. Thus you will need to read the below instructions thoroughly on what to do!

What do I do with the files?
Extract one of the DRTrinity-ActX.rar into a folder anywhere you want (For the sake of ease I suggest C:\Drelog\)
Extract Latest Demonbuddy into ITS OWN folder inside the Demonbuddybases folder in Drelog folder (For example: Assuming installed at C:\Drelog you would put the Demonbuddy install C:\Drelog\Demonbuddybases\250\

The dropbox link contain the following

DRTrinity--ActX.RAR
RARs contain the following plugins:
+ DRelog
+ RadsProfileManager
+ GilesTrinity - VERSION 1.5.2
This has been customized for the following:
- lvl 61+ Yellow Weapons
- lvl 61+ Yellow Armor
- lvl 54+ Yellow Jewelry
- NO Blues
- NO Gems
- NO Tomes
- NO Follower Items

What do you need to do after extracting the 2 zips?
+ Run DRelog.exe as Administrator (Right click > Run as Admin)
+ Edit the existing Bot Profile that is there or Add (Safer to Add than Edit) new ones as you see fit
- All the fields when creating a profile should be self-explanatory
- Make sure you check all the plugins on the top right corner where it lists plugins
- FILL OUT ALL OPTIONS besides the bottom Category that reads "Optional"
Note: For each bot you want to run you need to create a new Bot Profile in Drelog for it. You can run multiple D3s by copying your D3 folder > pasting > creating shortcut of d3.exe in new folder > properties on shortcut > add -launcher after the last " in the target field

What it does not and does do
IT DOES NOT MAKE DB CRASH PROOF
IT DOES safely restart DB automatically letting you go away without a worry (besides some lost NV stacks 'cause of a crash)

How do I maintain this for future plugins/releases?
*The following assumes the extract directory of DRTrinity-ActX.rar was C:\Drelog\)
*Prior to any updating you will want to go to C:\Drelog\Demonbuddys\ and delete all the folders there (They will be named after your Botprofiles)*

+ If there is a new version of DB navigate to C:\Drelog\Demonbuddybases
- Here you will create a new folder, name it the DB release IE DB 250 so you will have a folder now C:\Drelog\Demonbuddybases\250\
- Place all the files from the new demonbuddy release into the 250 folder
- Run Drelog.exe as admin and edit the Bot Profiles you have and select the new Demonbuddy version from the drop down menu

+ If there are new plugins to update navigate to C:\Drelog\Plugins
- Delete the folder that is existing for the Plugin you want to update
- Extract the new plugin's folder into the same place

FAQ
How does DR Work?

How do I go from doing Act1 to Act2 with this setup?
- First thing to note with this setup is RadsProfileManager requires the <Continue profile="Pathhere.xml"/> tag on segmented profiles and on LAST profiles <LeaveGame reason="Reason" /> tags
- Drelog copies EVERYTHING from the C:\Drelog\Demonbuddybases\VERSION\ folder when running a bot profile
- RadsProfileManager loads profiles from the ROOT DB folder that the Demonbuddy.exe your bot client is running from so it would be C:\Drelog\Demonbuddys\BotProfilenamehere\

With the previous notes taken into account - you can see that since Drelog copies everything from C:\Drelog\Demonbuddybases\VERSION\ on runs, to save time managing multiple bots, you can place any profile group you want RadsProfileManager to read directly into C:\Drelog\Demonbuddybases\VERSION\ and it will copy the profiles into each of the DB Setups (C:\Drelog\Demonbuddys\BotProfilenamehere\). This is not the last step, you still need to do one crucial thing. Every profile group (segmented champ profile) comes with a starter profile. You must make sure to copy the starter profile into the C:\Drelog\Profiles folder so that you can point each bot profile in Drelog to this new starter profile.

and it loads db or doesnt load db (as in thats the next step but never does load up) if it loads db and then gets stuck go to C:\drelog\demonbuddys\profilename\logs and paste the last few lines from the file there, if DB doesnt load and it gets stuck lkoading go to C:\drelog\ and paste the log txt there

Using the Act 1 version, I added all the setting in the profile except optional ones. Heres the log from DR

Seems like my login's failing actually, I run though *****s so 3rd party cant access. why does it need to log in anyways, It should just need a key.. I wont be able to use it.

It uses the Buddyauth servers to make sure when you do disconnect your existing DB sessions are killed (I believe this was a feature that was around prior to DB making sure it killed sessions on closure). Not sure anyway around it as I m not too well versed with how proxs work with external programs etc though I'd assume it shouldn't really matter.

edit: although weirdly enough I used to be able to run Drelog with gibberish in the Buddyauth and pw section and it would start fine (but I guess your prox's are causing an issue with the program even being able to attempt to connect to buddyauth so its failing there rather than pw failing and still proceeding)

Oh its there, just for the blank routines I threw it straight into the Demonbuddybases core's routine folders (Should be like C:\drelog\demonbuddybases\routines\GilesBlankCombat\)

A couple things I noticed... It seems to error out when creating a new game, but once it's in the game -- starting manually -- it seems to run just fine.

Could that be related to the 2nd thing I noticed, which is that there's no way to enter the desired character's name in the options...?

Also: The GilesBlankCombatRoutine folder is there, but I'll be damned if I can make it come up in the selection box.

No i get this aswell, it creats the game too fast and then db crashes and does nothing until you manually fix it I wish you could restart db after an hour or something

edit: for those of you wanting to edit giles stash replacer: it doesnt like to play nice with drelog normally and doesnt save your changes so what you have to do is manually edit the plugin's files for your chainges in C:\Drelog\Plugins\GilesStashReplacer.

If you updated GilesStashReplacer as long as you updated it correctly by replacing the plugin in C:\Drelog\Plugins (Assume that you exttracted the DrelogReadToUse.rar to C:\Drelog) you should be fine and it will use the new stashreplacer's settings.

Yeah it works for the first game, usually comes out gets an connection error no idea why. Plus is there anywhere I can "restart on x hours"?

Yes to the first question, as I've been botting Radonic's Act 1 profiles for weeks now with no issues with regards to game creation, heh.

Sigh I am a terrible terrible person, I was messing around with some profiles and I accidently edited the wrong xml


Redownload DrelogReadToUse-Act1.rar please if you downloaded it prior to this post time

OR

(Lets say you extracted DrelogReadToUse-Act1.rar to C:\Drelog)
Go to C:\Drelog\Profiles\ and open act1elite1.xml and change the 2nd line to this

Oh, and my next question is... Is there any way to get it to run both Act 1 and Act 2 profiles? For instance, finish Act 1, log out, do Act 2, then go back to Act 1, rinse and repeat? Does that make sense?
