Me and Jimmy are working on it, seems as if ALOT of power was put into the network, driving the difficulty up, then taken out leaving crazily high
 
I mean, should I stop mining at this point until things are fixed? Will I still be given the EXN I've spent the last few days mining? How does that work exactly? I've done quite a bit of looking around but can't find anything explained in layman's terms. Just kinda like to know what I should be doing.

No, don't stop mining, if our theory is correct it'll only give that individual more power.
Once we figure out what exactly is happening we may offer some sort of compensation to miners (not sure, have yet to discuss this with Bossland).

so Because i put 20 pcs on the network for 8000 kh/s that's a lot of mining power???
I usually only leave it for like 4-5 hours, sundays 6-7 hours. I could have put a lot more but opted to not to. How much more for the block until it's found roughly. So i can put all the pcs i have on the network and get the fucking block done lol.

oh it's darkbluefirefly btw lol.

Hi guys,

at last I see that EXL wallet downloads blocks.
The problem is that everything was fine so far but now is stucked - 1255 block left to syn wallet...
Any advice how to repair this?

I just know I would really like to be able to mine for EXN again, seems the fix to this is taking an excessive amount of time.
 
Ok so here's the run down
the fix, get this, means you gotta mine.
More miners the faster it will get fixed, sounds crazy right?
The reason why the difficulty spiked is because some fucking duch mother beep decided to troll or just for the fucks of it run 200 000 kh/s on the network for a short period, they probably found the block, and left. The way mining works is, difficulty is raised the more power is on the network, and the difficulty changes per block. Since it jumped so much in a short time and left so soon, the block stayed difficult, meaning is harder to find, so we gotta work at it until we do. When we do, the network will reshift difficulty because the 200 000 is not there anymore so it will stabilize and we start getting coins again.

Do not stop mining, if you do this shit takes longer. I can commit 5~ hours a day at roughly 10 000 kh/s to help out, and have been for a bit, just people are greedy and leave because they can't find any coins. A pool means working together to solve a problem, not work when it's beneficial for you.

Hope that clears up the issues.
 
yea i talked to some peeps who do ltc and etc. They had an estimation on when a block could be found, within a large range, i've passed that mark by some amounts and still no block found. It's weird.

The difficulty WILL NOT change until a new block is found. A new PoW block has not been found since block 20997 at "12/03 12:08:47" I'm not sure the network will progress until another PoW block is found allowing the difficulty to drop.
