Evolving CP vs IV

Ok, with a few talking about CP vs IV I have a question.

I have Magikarp which I can Evolve.
CP27 IV98
CP167 IV89

Do I evolve the highest CP or the highest IV??

Depends. You're botting so dust and candy is essentially unlimited. In those circumstances it makes little sense to go CP over IV. If you were a norm player then the high CP would yield a far better gyarados for cheap.

I actually have enough to evolve both lol. I did think IV would be better.

Just fyi you can likely snipe either a 100IV gyarados or 100IV magikarp in no time flat. Sub 90 is a waste for a botter.

IV, move set of gyrados is important aswell (dragon breath or bite + hydro pump)

if youre not sure leave it for a few days. youre almost guaranteed to find a better one.

go for IV, either way your going to get a cp100-1300 gyrados evolve. ive evolved around 20 CP10-100 IV100 karp's and the max ive got was a 1700 gyarados.
