1) Paid/Custom Routes

As the community made it clear that releasing something to the public of this caliber is a very bad idea, we decided to indeed not make it public.
Instead I am willing to negotiate to people in person. I will only think about selling this to 1 person per server per region. Spreading it will break your own profits.

Hmmm. Good job! However, to help in your development, just some questions to ponder.

If everyone using this route say with their farm carts, won't they somehow crash and stuck with one and another?

I am worried with this too, I absolutely love the dedication and the map you've made. I think this is why he said make sure to monitor.

I run the default LazyTrade route on Mr. DonkDonk and I very rarely run into other people using it too. If I do see one I can spot it instantly (if I sit at the Workbench), but in a week straight I've never really ran into one on the road. If I was using a Cart I definitely would have.

It just means you have to watch, I think. Or hope two bots don't run into eachother and start an endless wall of confused carts.

I don't want to release details but Sida is working on some kind of anti collision system, this is all early stage so please just wait for details from him !

You will be able to craft anything, anywhere in safe zones.
 
In the end, there will only be a certain amount of legit routes available. Even if 200 custom routes are made, you can't suddenly drive over a mountain instead of taking the closest road to the end. This will be an easy and free way out for the casual user on here.
If you want focused, custom stuff, that can be arranged.

And please don't be naïve, if you have anything against this stuff, you shouldn't be on here to begin with.
Honorbuddy had a bazillion public profiles and I didn't see a problem there.
Just bot with a clear mind, visit your target before actually botting it and don't overuse 24/7 and you'll be just fine.

I agree, as long you provide code and gps routes I have the option to change the coordinates some to make it personal.
I want to thank you for your great work bringing FREE plugins to the community.

What i'm about to tell everyone is going to cause a lot of complaining but in the back of your minds you will all know we are right by doing what we decided to do.

For the last week, 3 people (including sida and me) have been running "traderunner-by sida" as much as we can.
Believe, its the next gen in trade plugins right now. You can pause/interrupt at any time, it will never start circling because Sida built in a special resume-route-feature which calculates the closest points without having to re-attach to the current point and look like an absolute idiot doing so. It will spawn your carts like a champ anywhere you want it to, it will take care of your runs, keep track of your income and your packs, and sida is currently working on anti-collision features. It's just the next best thing and you should all be excited because it's coming really soon right now! (REALLY SOON™)

What we decided however is that releasing this full 100% world map is a really bad play. I also received a lot of complaints in pm's about people worried about the consequence of my work, and they are right0 You have to understand that right now, the potential of this is just HUGE. If I let only 2 pc's run with 4 accounts, I could be making 150€ a day... That's how good it is. But releasing everything to the public also means that shit will go downhill really, really, really fast.

Now imagine this scenario with my maps, everywhere you go...
We decided to keep this too ourselves for now, its good to have a less populated map to run testruns while further developing the plugin in the future.
Instead, it will be released with a handfull of separate routes. If you have a good route in mind, please let me know and the most wanted routes will be made and delivered with the bot. If you show any interest in this world map, contact me and offer something, we'll discuss what server you are on so we don't get in eachothers ways. In any case, this will remain really really limited. I want no one to have it on our current server, which I will not reveal.
We started noticing the potential problems when before usage, we didn't discuss with eachother what we were going to run that day and crashed into eachother ;)
AB is just at a stage right now where these things will have to be controlled, noted and not overused. There is currently no way of getting out of a crash, thankfully, the great Sida is working on it.

Also, don't think this will be limited, Sida also implemented a built in gps editor to try your hand at creating your own routes with editable intervals.
I will be available for making routes after that, we will always discuss servers and regions and I will keep track of those. I will never create the same route twice, first come, first served.

I hope you understand. Please leave route propositions below. If none are chosen, 2 will be made at random for each region and added to traderunner release. Make sure to use them wisely and carefully.

Custom routes to a limited amount of people is the way to go to make this work long term.

Lipie, I agree with you 100 % and as I have told everyone before you better make your own trade routes if you dont want to get the ban hammer, imagine if everyone went the exact same path, it would get everyone using that same path banned within a few days maximum.

When Sidas bot comes out I will just record all of the trade routes and keep my own privates, it isn't even hard or time consuming to do so yourself, would only take a 2-3 hours or so.
 
People need to stop being [extra] lazy and just run their own routes.

It literally takes a single manual trade run and you have your own custom route which you can run 1000 times and not worry about pathing into someone who's doing the same one.

That said, i'm just looking forward to the trade plugin. It looks awesome.
 
will the bot support CUSTOM routes i made myself? if yes ive got no problems.
 
I think even if everyone is running custom routes, there is still a risk of collision around bottlenecks like choke points and perhaps in town near the Gold Traders.

I'm still currently just researching, but if I could find some reliable way to check map topography and test a path for collisions, I'd love to try developing an advanced pathfinding AI that can pick routes and avoid collisions preemptively.
 
i don't see the traderun folder in my plugin folder. does it not show up if i get it through the store?
